That's a good question. I think it's largely an instinctive reaction to the pix which seem right off of a straight guy's Instagram: shirtless but showing no more skin (the cock pix clearly are lifted from elsewhere); friendly and open smiling poses unlike many RM ads that show serious, sulky, or aloof individuals.
