Well put! I could not have said it better myself!
  2. Why is this even a post if you’re sick cancel and don’t book appointments until you’re better. Let everyone know you’re sick and tell them you’d like to see them when you’re not sick. For someone who claims to be a lawyer you act very stupid sometimes. I think it’s attention grabbing but what do I know?
  3. It will be fine and you will have a great time. Just walk in and say hi my name is CALLAS on the board and this is my first time here and everyone will welcome you.
  4. I sent about 25 Christmas cards this year. They were sent primarily to people living on the East Coast who I don’t see very often if at all since I moved to the West Coast. I enjoy writing them and I hope they enjoy receiving them. I received a text from an old friend this morning. thanking me for my “beautiful card “and telling me that she misses me, but she knows I’m where I need to be and want to be. I received very few old-fashioned Christmas cards this year, I have received a couple e-card, which are nice and better than nothing but nothing compares with a Christmas card you took the time to sign, put a personal note on and mail in my not so humble opinion.
  5. David is a great guy. I knew him when I lived in the Philadelphia vicinity. Why all the negativity? Let him retire and rejoice in the fun those of us who knew him had with him.
  6. Dear Santa, All I want for Christmas is your list of naughty boys with their phone numbers. I have been a very good boy. Thank you. Sincerely, BobPS
  7. I asked the ER doctor if I could do my own stitches. She said, Suture self.
  8. I love a challenge.
  9. I went once about 30 years ago on an appropriately cold, dreary Saturday in February. I found my first cousins name and the name of a young man I knew who went to my high school but was several years ahead of me. My first cousin died in Vietnam on October 31, 1970. It is a very moving experience, especially if you had family or friends who died in Vietnam. It is well worth visiting at least once.
  10. 😂 damn it was good ceviche! The only thing better than the food and the drinks was the company of you and “Teddy Pendergrass”😀
  11. Jarrod and/or Chiguy3, today, three of us went to a restaurant for lunch. Before we sat down, we were told their credit card authorization system was not working and unless we had cash we could not eat there. Fortunately, we had cash . Cash is King. Clients pay your rent/car payment etc.. If the client wants to pay cash and many do for reasons already stated multiple times, deal with it. You’re in business to serve the client, not the other way around.
  12. The breakfast was great, but the conversation and camaraderie was even better. Thank you Danny! BTW, nice photo.

    Helene

Anyone on here live in or near Seminole Florida? I have family there and I’ve not been able to reach them to see how they are coping, coped with Helene.TYIA Update: they texted back. They are on high ground, dry and safe. They had pretty serious wind although Helene never got closer than 100 miles. Just a messy yard and pool to clean up and as they said, that’s OK. First world problems.
  14. I saw it last night at Cinema Diverse at the Palm Springs Cultural Center. I agree it is superb. The character development was amazing. I loved the ending dialogue: “ You can ask me anything.“

What evidence do you have that any of Vin’s posts are AI generated? None. I know Vin well and I can tell you that he is as articulate in person as he is online. He is very well read and speaks several languages. Yes, I count Vin as one of my good friends. He can hold his own in conversation with anyone from a janitor to a high ranking member of the judicial system at a dinner party. I’ve have been with him when he has done so. He is a wonderful addition to any dinner party. By the way, I am a successful attorney who can spot insecure, angry, jealous people who revel in schadenfreude, a mile away. I pity you.

    I’ll bet you will!😂😈
  17. In the past, I would leave a big note on my kitchen table saying something like John Jones 611 Pine St., Philadelphia, September 12, 2024 6:30 PM phone : 215-925-XXXX. With the trail texts leave, I no longer feel that is necessary. Lately, I’ve only been seeing one provider. I trust him absolutely and I don’t tell anyone when I’m seeing him. Regarding being roofied, (sp?), unfortunately, it is it has happened to friends of mine one friend in particular. I was not there. Fortunately he was with other good friends who figured out quickly exactly what happened and took care of him. Never let your drink out of your sight and if you’re going to dance , etc. have a friend watch it for you or take it with you on the dance floor! Another friend invited someone to his house and the person put something into my friend’s drink, my friend passed out for God knows how long and the person who drugged him stole items, including tax returns, etc.which had my friends Social Security number and DOB. My friend became a victim of identity theft. I’m very cautious as to whom I invite into my home .Be careful out there!

He checks in with me fairly regularly too just to say hello and ask how I’m doing which I appreciate. I also check in with him especially if I I see something or read something that I think he might be interested in or just to ask how life is treating him.
