They don't have the formula for the fixed rate determination posted but it's something to do with inflation and interest rates long term. So now that this has been going on for awhile, inflation & high interest rates, that's why the fixed rate is going up now as well.

You received the 9.6% the first six months of the i bond you bought in July 2022. The inflation rate changes every 6 months which is why you're getting 3.38% currently. You are getting 3.79% for the other one because when you bought that one it includes a 0.40% fixed rate on top of the inflation rate.

The horrible thing though is they have like $80 million wrapped up next year in deGrom & Scherzer and they didn't even need them this year. Imagine if they had that money to spend on resigning Montgomery & another starter. They could get Hader for bullpen help too.

They were pretty much a .500 team during the regular season and I think they are the only team to ever make the world series with a negative run differential. They probably would have gone down in history as one of the worst teams to win the world series honestly.

As I'm a top I usually assume bottom providers are going to need a day ahead notice. Unless they're in town visiting then they might already be on a meal plan which would allow them to bottom that same day. Even if I'm hiring a top provider I try to give a days notice. If you're hitting someone up at night for a meeting asap and they had some xxl spicy burritos for dinner it ain't gonna happen. -
Once January comes around I'll buy my $10k max. With that fixed interest rate it's a good long term investment option when the fed eventually starts cutting the interest rate in a couple years.

I actually have never asked for a room number for a provider I was visiting at a hotel until I got to the hotel. 😅 As long as it's a legitimate & well reviewed provider I wouldn't be worried about them ghosting you once you arrived at the hotel.
