You don't have any family members to pass them on to? Nieces, nephews, cousins, or even just a good friend? If you go in order though of ways to get out of it that's why I said their conviction getting overturned on appeal is the most likely. Pardon would be dead last on the list and has a less than 0% chance of happening since pardons don't randomly happen for someone convicted of one of the most heinous crimes in history.
