Some prefer a masseur to post his rate instead of “ask”. I can see that side of it - if he’s listed something outside of what you’re willing to spend it saves time.

Yes, when you see "ask" for the price, it usually means that you will be offered a menu of sorts.  Your selection of choice will determine the price you will pay.  You can assume that you will most likely pay a premium price for an erotic massage. If that is what you are looking for. 

In my experience, I've seen Ask Me when the masseur offers a 90-min massage in addition to a 60-min massage.  I've asked and been told that he's had potential clients expect the 60-min rate to be the 90-min rate, so it was easier to list the rates as Ask Me.

If you're looking for more I'd suggest you leave a nice tip and discuss other "interests" on the next appointment.
