Post Card of a young bodybuilder around 1890 UK.

A young sailor in the Royal Navy. It was taken during the Great War, at the photographic studio of Thomas A. M. Mann of 2, Havelock Road, Hastings, Sussex. The star on his uniform indicated it is his No.1 Dress Uniform he is wearing, not his everyday work uniform, and not his white ceremonial Uniform.

Mike Disfarmer (1884 - 1959) A couple from Heber Springs, Arkansas. I suppose a lot of the people in his Heber Springs collection would have known each other. Assuming this couple are gay, I wonder if they were known as such to their fellow subjects, or just to Mike himself?

Posted before, but this is one of my all time favorites. The beautiful John Davidson. Bob Mizer said he was one of the nicest young men he photographed. John left for Vietnam a few days later, and died suddenly en route of encephalitis.
