Perhaps he is not asking for personal real estate advice, but merely as a topic for conversaiton. But as others have suggested, if the converation gets deep enough to be something that you would charge for, then you should be upfront about that fact. Perhaps if your rates are similar to his, you might consider doing a trade of services for services. This is certianly not unheard of.

I have thought about posting a print ad in the classified section of our gay newspaper. Partly I want to do it just to support the paper, as these are slowly becoming extinct. I recently started using A4A. I have met a few clients from that site, but as mentioned, there are a lot of fake/scam profiles that you need to filter through. The nice thing about the site is that they openly welcome advertisers who pay the reasonable fee. Scruff prohibits solicitation, and so I list my profession as "masseur" but say nothing else about it. If someone reads it and asks me about it, I give my cell phone and then talk with them offline about it.

I am a masseur, and I would defiately love the idea of being able to rent a place at a reasonable nightly rate that could have a separate bedroom where I could sleep and a room with a massage table and linens avalable to use. This would be so great to have arrangements like this in a number of cities if there are any other guys who have massage tables and space to host traveling masseurs and mopen to me having clients there.

I have sometimes had clients get off the table and ask me to get on, though they don't always offer to massage me. I am absolutely open to a client who would like to offer me a massage for part of our time together.

This is so interesting how everyone is so interested in this. Each state in the US is broken down into local and regional municipalities in a variety of different ways. The nomenclature (city, town, village, parish county, etc) has different meanings in different states. In some cases, the divisions may be purely geographic wihout any type of governing. County tends to be a good collective for a way of dividing a state into units that often are used for a variety of measurments - such now as voting, census, and even covid data reporting. So true confession time - I have not offered any overnight appointments mainly because I have a sleep apnea issue and use a cpap. That would sure be awkard to use with a client. I do have venmo and also square to accept credit cards for those who come without cash, but I prefer cash.
