I know there was an old thread with little activity, but has anyone stayed at any Chicago hotels with a spa/steam room. I was thinking of staying at the Ritz since I think there could be a lot of activity but curious to hear your thoughts. thanks

How is spa castle during the week? Thinking of spending a day off there.

King spa closes the steam room at 5 even on weekends. Place was crowded with some eye candy. I enjoy island much more.

Wow. That place looks great. I know that area well. Should be easy to reach by train and hopefully they will have parking. It will be interesting to see how much it is per day.

I was at island the last night. Very mixed crowd and some very good looking people. I even saw one of the dudes I follow on Twitter. There is the one employee that walks around every 5 minutes but there seemed to be a lot of activity in the steam room. Very relaxing place.

I’ve been to king spa which is the other big one of the three. The spa is large and gets a diverse crowd. The wet area tubs are so shallow and high I don’t like. Curious to hear how others like island spa. The reviews on Yelp seem to favor it over kings.
