Under the new administration, it feels like we are living in different times. Not to say that I haven't met very masculine and reliable gay providers. But when most people have had a similar experience it's hard to disagree.

While I will agree with you that it can be considered an outdated view, my comment came purely from empiric experience. The vast majority of masculine guys I've met inside and outside of the bedroom identified as bisexual or straight. The gays, not so much. What is considered masculine behaviour for me might be different from what other people think. In any case, I stand by my words.

If I had a dollar for every "top" who turned out to be vers or bottom ... A good is not promoted unless it's (somehow) available. Strict (true?) tops don't workout their butts and don't post pics of their butts on their RM profiles. It's just branding, just like some gay providers use "straight" or "bisexual" as sexual orientation in their RM profile. They are also probably fishing for clients who fantasize about "fucking a top guy". When they ask, then it comes the upcharge.

Thanks for the dialogue @BtmBearDad I think I forgot to place a LOL or "Sarcasm Alert" in my comment about straight male escorts being discriminated against by gay clients. I think the show biz is, for multiple reasons, not the best context to talk about gay representation.

Sexuality is also a spectrum and there are varying degrees of "straightness". My best experiences have been with providers who identify as bisexual or straight. They are more serious, reliable, and tend to keep their word about what was agreed. I think truly straight guys won't blackmail because they have zero interest in their side gig being known. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the majority of my experiences with gay providers. Straight and bisexual also care a lot less about who you are and what you look like as a client. There are gay providers who will be upfront saying they won't see clients of certain age, physique, or race.

In fact, it's more likely that a straight or bisexual provider will be more masculine than a gay one.

I know clients ultimately decide who they hire but to think that it's 2021 and even in the sex trade there is discrimination for sexual orientation? I still have to hear a straight guy complaining that he won't hire a female escort because she's a lesbian.
