Of course not.  If he is not willing to put any effort in before even meeting you, imagine what a DUD he will be in bed,
    PASS is my vote.

The comments and stereotypes on this thread are really rolling now. The only thing we know about (virtually) all Jewish men is that they're circumcised. Any behavioral speculations are based on pretty old tropes and stereotypes. Maybe the mods can get the discussion back on track.
Just one trivial example: You can buy a bottle of Mogen David wine for less than $5 today. The notion that a Jewish person charges a high fee because wine costs $4.99 is plain nasty. The fact that the commenters might be Jewish themselves is no excuse in a public forum.

No, I have many friends who have worked in fashion and related industries. They are known for being rampant with abuse, sexual harassment, low pay early in your career, etc. That you choose to normalize abuse is on you. I had a boss raise his voice to me once. Just the one time and my reaction ensured it never happened again.

I am happy it didn't make you  personally feel badly, but just because you were treated that way, doesn't mean somehow that you can do it to others.  Insulting/teasing/bullying/name calling others because it was what was done to you is a tradition to be broken, not to be carried on.

I used to think that way. But then I realized I didn't need to say everything I thought.
And I think criticism is fair when it regards things people can control. But commenting on a person's appearance, particularly their weight, height, or facial features, is just mean-spirited.
I prefer men taller than me (6' or taller), but I don't go from thread to thread calling the providers "midgets." So I'm frank about my preferences while not insulting or dehumanizing anyone.

I'm a native NYer who grew up pretty poor. You will not find a more frank speaker than me.
However, knowing that providers do check this site - in fact some moderate it - calling them "fat" or "ugly" or whatever is unnecessarily nasty. You could simply say "this person isn't my type" or just say nothing.
And to be frank, you and your wife don't sound like people I'd want to spend time with. Again, as a NYer, we don't say shit behind your back that we wouldn't say to your face. So if you said one of my friends was fat, I would tell you that you're being an asshole.

When I check out a 411 post that one of our members puts up and the escort is TOTALLY NOT my type I've been known to make the following comment. "Totally not my type too many/much "xyz" but isn't that great. Damn I'm glad we are not all looking for the same type of escorts. If we were hiring would become near impossible. Viva la difference".  I see nothing wrong with that comment.

I agree, tho I don't know what 'janky' means 🤪
Searching for a provider by name makes you go through the location first, then the option for refining the search shows up where you go to a new page to finally put in the name of the provider.  However, you either have to make sure you don't have a location selected or have the location of the provider selected correctly.  Having a direct search box on the main page for providers would be so much easier.
Secondly, the old version used to have the overall rating of the escort on the main page of their profile.  Now, you have to select 'see all reviews' to see the overall average of all the reviews of someone.  You could end up with a situation of the last person giving them 5 stars but all the previous giving one star, but you wouldn't know that unless you dig in.

Some of the RM6 functionality has been buried under options, so I think some things are just a learning curve for the new interface since they didn't give a 'tutorial mode' intro.
The search is kind of janky, I've noticed it doesn't seem to bring up the same results if you try roughly equivalent settings.  I'm not sure if it's just the indexing isn't right or if it's the way I set up the search, but I don't think I was getting as many hits on the RM7 search.  I'll also miss the added granularity with searching for vers/top - vers/btm, which is not the same as adding versitile and top or bottom together.  They decisions they made generally were not helped by hiding or losing functionality.
Oddly, the rates fields are included in the search options, but I think it still mostly suppresses showing them for US clients.  I did somehow see rates on one provider's page (I was looking at torontonians), but I think it was a glitch.  I wonder if searching on rates in the US will have any effect.

I’m all for change, but Version 7 is a hot mess. This “upgrade” is a navigational shit show. I hope there’s a chance we revert back to Version 6. My two cents.

This is depressingly reminiscent of the Planet Romeo site. It’s revamp, now a few years old, is a textbook example of how to ruin an effective, user friendly website.

This is just essentializing the incentives and markers of late-stage capitalism and patriarchy to some biological imperative. It's not. While biology plays a role, our desires are primarily shaped by our experiences, cultures, and psychology. All of these are also geographically and historically situated. For example, as recently as WWII, a man was not considered queer unless he bottomed. (See George Chauncey's Gay New York. In much the same way, how we discuss even physical characteristics are historically and culturally constructed.
No one is saying we don't have your preferences and turn-ons. That's cool. What some of us object to is using degrading and dehumanizing language ("fat," "ugly," racial tropes, etc.) to describe providers. It's not that hard. People post about guys I don't find remotely desirable ALL THE TIME. And I don't comment on them. I feel no need to "yuck someone's yum" or to say nasty things about sex workers.
If a client has a concern that the person they're going to meet with may look different, ask for a quick FaceTime or for them to send a current time stamped pic.

Your post is unnecessary. Everyone has preferences in what they desire, and no one is trying to change anyone else’s. The point here is civility. We’re a community of people of various sizes, ages, and genders. Those areas can be addressed without verging into insult.

It doesn’t happen a lot on this site—which is a treasure, by the way—but I’m always stunned on the rare occasions when commenters use right-wing language like “woke,” “canceled,” or, in an instance on a past thread, “social justice warrior.” These terms are all meant to diminish efforts to protect and honor people who have been and continue to be subject to every kind of abuse and violence—like the queer men this site primarily serves! I don’t know what commenters would get out of throwing out insults about someone’s weight, age, etc., which add an unnecessary toxicity to this place of deep, human pleasure. Thank you all who call it out every time. ❤️

Wow, why is this thread happening in duplicate? Builder boy is attempting to deceive us folks in not disclosing the full context of his "attempted" connection with trevor. I have met with trevor, and he is exactly what the last gentleman said, absolutely terrific. Through all of the communications, leading up, he was warm, cordial, high energy/ fun, with the perfect amount of sexy . I would add that he's exquisitely professional, and never once I had a moment thinking that he was attempting to manipulate me, or waste my time. Sorry, builder boy, your experiences don't match with the person that most here  have actually engaged with. You are being duplicitous.
Next time I see Trevor I'm going to make a point of asking him about you, I'm betting that there's more context here that you're leaving out.
He's a good guy, and I'm glad we met.

But your experience isn't from meeting the provider but from being unable to come to terms on a booking.  You haven't made that clear in the your comments on two different threads now.  You  say "That wasn't my experience" which implies that you had met with them and did not enjoy it.  Please be clear when posting about what actually happened. You went into detail in the last post after being pressed.  We heard you.
