Although tipping alone has always been controversial, ANY tip is appreciated!
90% of my tips come in the form of Cash.
Some Non Cash tips I have received have been Gift Cards to places I like, roll of pennies, underwear, cologne, shopping trip, sunglasses.
 

I was going to start a new thread for this but I figure it would be better to just use this one.
 
I know most of the providers don't expect a tip but when you do, do you prefer cash or more personalized gifts? Also, what's the best, weirdest, or most suprising extra gift you have ever gotten?

The one thing you never want to get wrapped up in is becoming the '$30k millionaire.' That's the quickest way to debt and getting yourself into a whole heap of financial trouble. I see it on a regular basis in Dallas, where people try very, very hard to seem important.
 
Eventually, their rented Range Rovers are repossessed, their leased apartments evicted and their short run in the social circles of Dallas over.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. There are a lot of guys that I would like to see more often but can't afford to. I've told some "I've had a really good time but this is something I can't afford to do very often". If they don't take well to that, it's not my problem.

I remember talking to a friend about seeing the first boner on Star Trek, in the first episode when Trip and T'Pol stripped down to their underwear to rub decontamination gel all over each other.

Alright, so I sorta click-baited y’all here, but I had to say my peace. Currently in Vietnam, having traveled through Hong Kong on the way in(briefly, 2 hr connection), and in somewhat jeopardy of being stuck here / travel difficulties in the event the US gov’t starts restricting travel home. Several clients have reached out to me in concern, but it really resonates with me that @Dane Scott from SOCAL took the time to text, call, do everything but send smoke signals to see if I had a plan and if he could help out. Let me tell you, my own fucking biological brother hasn’t inquired in the slightest where I am, so it speaks volumes to the character of this man for him to extend himself like this.
 
Then again, anyone who’s been on this board for the past decade already knew what CLASS he had. Love ya brother(Ace, love you too, but he’s taking your place...)...

It's brand spanking new so I doubt anyone here has hired him but I did want to see if anyone recognizes him from a previous ad or if they recognize the pics as stolen. I am still new to this so I am reluctant hire someone with no reputation to go by but he is definitely my type so if no one has any negative info on him I might just give him a try.

I'm about to take my first plunge into hiring and I've been learning a lot from reading the forum here.
 
I'll be taking a trip soon and I booked a guy who is well reviewed and regarded, but I am completely inexperienced. I have disclosed this to him and he asked me what I was looking for. I told him I wanted someone who could be gentle and understanding with me but could "take charge", not in a dom/sub sort of way but just guiding me on what would be most enjoyable since, for me, it's all been theoretical fantasies to this point. We left it at that and he said we'll get in touch again as we get closer to the appointment.
 
My question to providers is, what would you want a new inexperienced client to know or communicate to you before the appointment? Would you like more clear details what they expect or would you feel comfortable guiding the experience for them?
