Mad Max: Fury Road. I'm a nerd about movie/TV/book series I'm interested in so I tend to come into them with a lot of expectations and preconceived notions. I had never seen any of the other Mad Max movies and was only familiar with them in the vaguest terms. I wasn't planning on seeing it but then I saw a bunch of MRA's got sandpaper up their crack about it so I decided to see it just on principle. It's one of the few movies I came in seeing with a blank slate in a long time. I didn't really think it would be anything much more than some over-the-top action movie batshittery. But boy, when I saw it I was blown away. It definitely had some grade A action movie batshittery, but the well developed characters, backstories, themes caught me by surprise. The cinematography was just amazing as well. It was the first time I'd been surprised by something I watched in a long time

I haven't hired since this thing started heating up back in February. I work with the public so social distancing and quarantining are a no go for me. Nothing turns me off reading something more than uninterrupted blocks of text. I always try to be mindful when I'm writing of when I have moved on to a new point or thought so I can split it up into more digestible pieces

I definitely consider Rhyheim the gold standard for Onlyfans/Justforfans. This is one of the most criminally underwatched TV shows of all time. I knew of Rachel Bloom from her youtube videos and I was so excited when this show came on. Alas, musicals on network television have always been a hard sell. I'm just glad they managed to get 4 really good seasons out of it.

While, the secrecy with which the Chinese government first treated the virus was probably unhelpful, from what I have seen the real problem has been the unusually long period for this virus where people are contagious but asymptomatic, up to 3 weeks I think. It pretty much made any containment attempts pointless since they had no idea how far it had already spread.

I had a similar experience as someone who's first time was both with an escort and later in life than usual. I have seen a lot of different interpretations of the cutoffs of these generations. I am right at the border of Gen X and Millennial so depending on who is making the determination I have been classified as Gen X, Millennial, and one time (god help me) a Xennial. Truth be told I do kind of feel I have a foot in both generations without being too fully in either. For me I remember the change over to a lot of new technologies. We had rotary phones when I was little but they were all gone by the 90's. The decade started with vinyl and cassette tapes(my sister still has an extensive 45 collection) but it was all CDs by the mid 90's. I also remember the rise of the WWF (now WWE) as a big part of my childhood and subsequently part of my sexual awakening.

Yes, the plot wheels are finally approching full speed and Rafi's interaction with her son made that character click with me. And there are many scenarios I can think of that would involve me, Rios, and his various holographic doppelgangers.
