Don't expect anything Tucson. It's an entirely different vibe. Not grown in feeling, an oddly modern barn, perhaps even a little cold. I like the aesthetic from a personal relaxation standpoint, but it will turn a lot of people off who are used to the 'standard' Miraval feeling.

Seriously... his most recent pics were posted in 2011. He should at least make an effort and repost his old pics or ideally get new ones.
Not sure which is worse though.....K Slater has used some of the same pics for 55 of his 45 years.....but most all of them show as having been uploaded like yesterday.

Over many, many years periodic but fairly regularly scheduled visits to Miraval / Tucson have become more akin to a basic necessity rather than a luxury....
When / if the stars align & given the chance, I would love to land in Lenox & see for myself.....
One other friend who expresses opinions & relates travel experiences in a way that I trust booked a few days after opening....he gave it ??? & recommended that the place be among the options going forward....

Many cruise ship cabins have two single beds which are pushed together to form a king. I suppose some suites would have regular king size beds too.
Yes indeed....staterooms on cruise lines....when the stateroom is large enough for 2 twin beds, at the passenger’s request, ship staff will connect them together to make 1 king....(at no Xtra charge)
Otherwise, while some cruise lines do indeed offer actual king-size among their options / choices, more commonly queen-size is the largest on offer....
Not always but among the few people I know that own their own private skiff, rowboat or dinghy - they often have king-size in the cabins....similar to the comforts enjoyed in their terra firma residence(s).

The vaca being referenced here is not an Atlantis cruise but rather a week (Nov 28-Dec 05) at an Atlantis - hosted resort in Punta Cana.....
Before worrying about king beds, I would wonder if this resort is really as mediocre (3* at best) as it looks.
Club Med did / does have some allure / appeal but they also always have had some cookie-cutter aspects woven into their formula....
My parents booked us into Club Meds in exotic locations a couple times for family vacations....our experimenting with Club Med stays ended pretty quickly.
Hope someone can give me answers!!
