Yes, I didn’t realize how fortunate I was. Dad and Mom were both athletes, as were my two older brothers. “Sports” was in our DNA, thus lots of showers and locker rooms, and jock straps. We also had a pool most of the time growing up and Dad loved his skinny dipping midnight swim that was occasionally a family event. We didn’t think a thing of it. Mom did join in but she was very discrete and always had a towel nearby. Funny too, that Mom wouldn’t tolerate profanity, but she laughed the loudest at dirty jokes as long as you cleaned up the language.

Interesting question. I’ve seen my two brothers and my dad in the locker room and of course all were in flaccid state. I’m guessing the 4 of us are show-ers. A number of years ago, I traveled on business to a midwestern city of about 40K people, and home of a large university. I wanted to take my client out to dinner so I asked around for the names of a few “fine dining” recommendations. The unanimous response? Applebees. The restaurant indeed was new, and my client was pleased. My first and last time.
