  1. Sorry the confusion! I’ve been to see him already, and his skills were definitely worth the visit. I did not find him cold or lacking “namaste” vibes. However, if you read his profile, he’s definitely focused more on rehab training than on feel good training. My session was focused on muscle work, not the spiritual energy flow. Each has their spot. As mentioned above, I’d highly recommend a visit to Conor Mac!
  2. On mobile, so will update soon with more. Worth the visit to go see him. Technical skills are fantastic, caters to your body, comfortable table and environment. As previously mentioned, he was definitely more “chatty” after the session, but I believe that’s more because I indicated before hand that I wanted to turn my brain off for the duration of the massage. He respected that and left me to my own zen. Anyway. If you’re on the fence, take the plunge. Great guy, great session.
  3. I agree, Santa Barbara is a ghost town. However, if you’re looking for a fabulous therapeutic massage, Daniel at Float Luxury Spa on E Canon Perdido was amazing. The “spa” itself isn’t anything to write home about, but Daniel is amazing, and he gives great hugs.
  4. After reading through, I guess I’ve been fairly lucky in my hires! Haven’t experienced the particular craziness shown above, but I did have my own moment of “uh oh” with a provider. First red flag was that his photos were clearly 15+ years out of date. Over looked that issue, as the provider still looked decent and hit it off with easy conversation. The uh oh came about mid way through, as he was massaging my quads and getting in to the hip flexors, he made a comment that “if I apply enough pressure right here, I could kill you and no one would know how you died.” We both chuckled, and I chimed in that people don’t realize the power a massage therapist has over their client…thankfully it was only a 60 minute massage and we wrapped up quickly after that. Needless to say, I never went back. He pulled his ad a few days later and I’ve never seen it again.
  5. I can’t speak to his willingness to do more. I’ve only ever seen him therapeutically.
  6. Happy to see lots of interest in Tarryl! Although, if y'all interfere with me being able to book him regularly, I'm going to be bummed! Have seen him several times, and his massage is great - heavy pressure, if you like that, although I have requested lighter pressure and he accommodates. Genuinely nice guy, great atmosphere, and his arms are better in person.
  7. Much the same here. It was not a repeat performance, and overall was a miss for me.
  8. To follow up on this thread, and add my own experience... I had the pleasure of meeting Palmer at his location, and had an enjoyable experience. While it may be true that he is not "formally" trained in massage, his technique is great, his pressure was spot on, and overall I was relaxed and well massaged through the whole session. PM if you want more details. But, I don't believe that he is a "well known scam artist" as previously mentioned.
  9. Seen him once. Skills were mediocre, and I found his pictures to be very effective at presenting his good side. i haven’t repeated, and likely won’t. He was a nice enough guy, but when I paid him at the end, he questioned why so little, and had to go back and double check how much he quoted me.
  10. I can’t speak to his massage, as I’ve not ever been able to schedule. I’ve messaged him several times and always get a curt: “No.” in response. Before you wonder if my request was inappropriate, I always message with something akin to: “Hi! Saw your ad for massage...wondering if you have any availability today for me?” After the third same response over several weeks, I gave up trying to schedule with him.
  11. He's new to PS - really nice guy, serious about his therapy work. Without giving a review, a great therapeutic option in the PS area. PM's welcome.
  12. Location would be helpful, also. If you’re looking for someone to relocate, or finding someone local, would help to know where we’re at geographically.
  13. Pretty sure he actually offered a free massage to the primary complainant, and offered a very significant discount to the rest. If anyone’s suffered emotional distress, it’s likely the guy who’s having to defend his livelihood to a wealth of anonymous internet posters. Safest approach? Mods should probably close all these threads as it’s become nothing more than an attack against a provider and fails to meet the stated goal of this forum (“... those involved in escorting can avoid violence, prevent HIV, find community services and have access to a supportive community.” - Terms and Rules of this forum). Sounds like Ricky’s provides a service that was unsatisfactory to the reviewer, and became subject to a negative review, which was later compounded by personal attacks against him. I would encourage the Mods to enforce the “supportive community” rule here. If you don’t like Ricky, cool! You don’t have to go back. Let’s grow up and move on.
  14. I’ve been here several times, and have seen 3 separate therapists (Jason, Garret, Danilo). The space is fun, as others have said. I think YMMV with each therapist as I’ve had different experiences with draping. Locals may get a discount, though I’m not 100% sure. In two of my sessions the therapist asked me if I was local, and those 2 sessions had a 15% discount applied. Anyway, always worth a try!
  15. No, I’m not Ricky/RealHealHands. Read my other postings (I admit they are few, as I’m mostly a quiet lurker). Was he into me? ?‍♂️ I go to massage therapists looking to be massaged, not looking for an escort service. I won’t bandy words back and forth, as all I can do is report on my experience with him. It was a great massage, and it met my expectations. As I previously said, I’m sorry your experience was negative. In an effort of full disclosure, my experience was not yours, and I felt compelled to share mine.
  16. Found this thread after visiting with him in Palm Springs. I’m sorry you guys had a bad experience! The massage was skilled, therapeutic, and the session ran long. Sounds like I’m in the minority here, but as far as massages go, I honestly feel like Ricky/RealHandsHeal has the skill to provide (and DID provide) a great massage. He’s personable and friendly, with up front and clear communication with me from the get go. PM if you want more details. I would, and will, repeat.
  17. Nice guy, his pictures don’t do him justice. He does massage out of an office downtown (private, but common restroom shared with the building). I’ve repeated, but haven’t decided if he’ll be in my regular rotation...
  18. Jeremy in Palm Springs, can find him on Adam4Adam as Jerbear2012. Brad in Palm Springs, can find him on rentmen as RubRubRelax. I’m on my phone right now, otherwise I’d post links...
  19. Agree with @soberguy above. Great massage, great guy. Better looking than the pics suggest...
  20. Let's hope that's all it is! In hindsight, I'm enjoying the comedy of failure that was my experience. If you've read some of the threads of what could go wrong in a massage, I had almost all of them wrapped up into one session yesterday.
  21. This literally happened to me yesterday as well. It was the first, and only, massage I terminated early. Like you, I feel the provider is in desperate need of this gig. At the end, we settled up, and I headed my own way. The provider texted me and said he truly enjoyed working on my body, and asked if I would leave a review for him. I politely responded, “I’m genuinely grateful for the time you spent with me today! However, my experience today doesn’t line up with the other reviews I saw of you online, and I would rather keep my experience to myself. If you’re open to feedback, I can give you my thoughts. Otherwise, I’ll leave off with it being a pleasure to have met you today!” He never responded, so I assume he wasn’t receptive to constructive criticism.
  22. Yep - I tried a couple different times, but never could get my schedule to match his (mostly my fault, not his).
  23. Saw him a few years ago in PS. Nice guy, decent massage. As memory serves, he speaks decent English, but it’s slightly broken. As they say...trust your gut on the rest.
  24. I tried connecting with him when he was in PS a couple months ago - unfortunately he took forever to respond to my text (I texted early in the AM, and he didn't respond until later that evening), and I was on a short time frame. Hoping he comes back out to the Desert so I can try again!
