  1. Or just the new owner trying to drum up buisness. I'll wait for a legit review.
  2. Anyone check out New Hero Spa on 56th and 8th Ave (formerly Manta)? C'mon people - take one for the team and report back.
  3. What's enough? 50% base price? 100%?
  4. I only experienced a glove once when the MT had cut his hand. But he gave me a heads up about it.
  5. Buncha thirsty ho's who act like they've never seen one before in this thread. Perhaps taking your beggin' to private messaging would benefit those of here who wish to remain on topic.
  6. Looks like the person from Energy Spa took it over. I've never been as it looked like it had been closed for years. I'll be curious to see if they make any changes.
  7. That's the one! Ahhh.. Fond memories. He'd be mid-30s now.
  8. My heart is with the original Dylan from the vintage SC guys Circa 2004
  9. It did. But closed again til June 1 for more construction / maintenance. It's on their website.

I've had this happen twice at "strictly" therapeutic places. In retrospect, I'm not exactly sure how or why they happened at a legit place. Perhaps the masseur was in the mood. Maybe I was their type (chemistry). Or perhaps it was just a slow day and they were workin' the tips - But I didn't ask for it and I didn't drop any hints. If I really thought about it the common factor is that I tend to treat people with respect and courtesy. I do like a little conversation prior to session. During which I treat them like a human beings who matter and not a means to a [happy] end. When I go in for a 60 minutes massage my only expectation is for a good massage... for 60 minutes. After that it's up to the parties involved and not an written agenda I hand the masseurs when I tromp in. I'm not sure I would want to be treated like a 'Have it Your Way' Burger King employee, so I don't treat others like that. It goes a long way.
  11. What's the crowd like there (generally)?

  13. Walked by old Manta and all the letters are ripped off. There's a plastic sign hung up saying 'New Hero' with the old SPA letters remaining.
  14. Saturday morning (very busy and6a lot of hot guys) and weekdays after 5ish. Lotsa eye candy but 0 action.
  15. What time(s)/day(s?) That's my primary gym. I've been in that steam room 20 times and never have seen anything other than a lot of side glances.
  16. It's just Icy-Hot. A topical analgesic with Menthol.
  17. Because there isn't one. "Best" is a matter of personal preference mixed with direct experience. There are several here that have many posts about the experinece there. Use these message to find a place that offers what you're looking for and go try it out. That's half the fun!
  18. Rodrigo at Shangrila is 6'1ish and Brazilian. Great massage and warm, welcoming personality.
  19. We're gunna have to issue a subpoena here. We suspect there's been Russian interference in your briefs...
  20. Sad. I grew up going here. I gave so many high af guys "book money" for school. Amazing how some of these guys were in college so long Good times...
  21. I'd say he cashing in on Onlyfans. He has a few hundred posts to Onlyfans with 58k likes. His follower count isn't disclosed but a twitter post from a year ago said was at 1000 followers. If he now has 2000 onlyfans plus he now has subscription xylo content that's 20k+ a month for posting muscle flexing pics. Why even see clients?? 20 clients a month at the $300 is $6K. I'd sure as hell just post the ossacional dick pic and collect the checks.
  22. I walk by Manta on the way to/from the gym. Honestly, from the looks of it, I thought the place had been closed for years.
  23. I love this forum and glad I found it. A good massage can be $$$, so finding the right masseur match is important to me. Walked in TSMS this week. The spa is 'Garden Level', and in a very busy area but no ambient street noiseI could hear. Rooms were nice and very clean. It's a small place with maybe 3 or 4 rooms total (didn't see a shower). I didn't book ahead and got Alven / Alvin. Very good consistent firm pressure throughout. I like to start our with firm pressure then lighten up as it goes on. He was spot on the entire time. If you're looking for deep pressure or a sports massage he's your guy. He was professional, on time, and courteous. Not very chatty, so if you enjoy a bit of "Where you from?" get-to-know-ya talk he's probably not the one, however he did warm up a bit afterwards and was smiley. His English was fine, but probably just not at a fully conversational level. I do like it quiet during the massage as I tend to completely zone out, so he was a good match. Some other people have mentioned he's technical or mechanical and I see what the mean, but that sounds negative, and it's not. He's just not the sensual warm-n-fuzzy type. I never felt like he was just "going through the motions" or wasn't present. Around 5'10ish with baseball cap, tattoos and an earing he's got that quiet, jockish, street-swagger to him. I'd be curious how he is with repeat visits.
