The only thing my mother gave me that I listen to is: "If you keep someone waiting you are telling them that you are more important than they are." I am always early.

Had an interesting experience last night. A new connection that had confirmed a 9 pm meeting three times did not show up at 9. I texted a "?" at 9:10. At about 9:20 I received a text back that he was at the gym and would be another 45 minutes before coming to me. I told him to forget it and deleted him from my phone. Around 10 o:clock he texted that he was ready to come. I again told him not to and he sent a photo of his body with a great big hard on. Was this supposed to make me forget his actions due to lust? I said forget it again and deleted it.

My question - if it is even a question - is what kind of arrogance makes him think that his rudeness was ok? The "I'm at the gym" is not a reason for ignoring our 9pm agreed upon time. If he has no respect for my time why should I reward him for it? He lost $400 because of it. I have a firm policy of not rewarding bad behavior.

More and more I am finding arrogance, bad manners and non-responsiveness running rampant among the escorts. Is it just me or is it getting harder and harder to find reliable escorts? Hope my rant didn't bore you!

I hope the benefit is that no patient has to sit and wait in the exam room past their scheduled appointment time.

That kind of rudeness is not okay. You are a customer paying for his time, at an agreed time. I will cut people some slack if they are stuck on the NYC subway but on the way over already, for example. Otherwise, I do the same; I cancel. A deal is a deal, after all! Have also noticed an uptick in this kind of behavior, even for massage appointments. Educate them with your pocket book; take your business elsewhere.

Cute as can be. A little less masculine than his photos. Good, soft massage. Will repeat to see what can happen.

I am put in mind of a tv movie that I saw recently. The mother of a home-schooled student was at the local high school and was standing in front of a trophy case. The principal with great pride asked her what she thought of all the trophies they had won. Her response was, "Not much. These are participation trophies. Nothing to do with winning." To me this is the really sad thing about how children are being raised today. Expectations vs participation. Very discouraging. It teaches them nothing!

EPIGONOS - This is a perfect example of the problems with today's youth. As a teacher, you can do so much to teach values and respect for educators but I firmly believe that it all starts in the home. If the youth are not getting the guidance and discipline which is inherent in good parenting but instead are spoiled rotten and get everything they want, they grow up with a sense of misguided entitlement. I see it in the workplace with the milennials who seem to think they deserve a promotion and raise every 6 months for just doing their job. It was a different time when we grew up. If our parents heard that our teacher reprimanded us, they wanted to know what we didn't do that we were supposed to do. There was very little doubt that the teacher was right.

As I've stated many times on this site I taught in a public high school for thirty-six years. Over the years I came to absolutely loathe the term self esteem ie. If I openly admonished a student for not doing his/her homework the mother would often come charging up to school to complain that I had seriously harmed her child's self esteem. Most teachers came to see self esteem as a meaningless trait that everybody possessed simply because of the fact of their birth and was thus worthless. Self respect, on the other hand, is something that people/students EARNED because of their work, demeanor, behavior, etc.
OK guy come and get me.
