Bloodline - Recommended to me by a London escort. Set in the Florida Keys, it's the story of a seemingly respectable family with a dark past - and, it turns out, an even darker future. It's one of those stories where the efforts to conceal bad acts lead to more bad acts and eventually spiral out of control. Also Ozark Season 3.

I think it's just a privacy setting the user has selected. On your account page, there are privacy settings, and one of them allows you to choose exactly who can view your profile details. Choices are all visitors, members only, people you follow, and no one. There's another setting for who can start a conversation with you. Those choices are members only, people you follow, and no one.

What Are You Reading During Your Staying-at-Home?????
Spursy replied to + Axiom2001's topic in Literature
I'm reading "The Lounge" every night. It's full of characters and has some sexy men. -
Deposit for future meetings during current downtime

I feel the same way and have done the same thing for my regular and my regular masseur. The responses made me glad I did it. But these were gifts. If you want something in return or there otherwise are strings attached, maybe it works out; maybe it doesn't. If you neither want nor expect anything in return, you cannot be disappointed. -
I don't think you can fit a dick through that valve in the N95. So, no.

In any event, the Queen looks damn good for 93.

Not Quite Ready For Broadway...errr...I Mean The West End
Spursy replied to + Gar1eth's topic in The Lounge
I'm from the Midwest and it's sad to me. I'm being facetious, of course, but if there are other English Premier League fans on the forum, they will understand. -
This morning my Kroger had plastic freezer bags over the checkout keypads. Am I missing something, or does this just move the problem from the keys to the bag? It could help if they changed the bag after every customer, but I didn't see that. I was wearing gloves, so it was an academic question for me. But it didn't make much sense to me.

The poor lad is a Watford fan. -
My trip to Whole Foods today was a nearly complete waste of time (saved only by the fresh, wild caught Red Snapper in the seafood case). I was able to get no more than a third of what I wanted. I've been entirely disappointed by all things Amazon during the pandemic.

Whenever I look at your avatar, I immediately think "Calvinism!"

Yes. Yes! YES! When we get some indication from public health authorities that it is OK (as you said, who knows how that will occur?), I will beat a path to the airport. After cancelling a trip I had scheduled for this past weekend, I have 6-8 trips partly or fully lined up for the rest of the year - sometimes just a hotel, sometimes hotel plus flight, all fully cancellable. I have some money invested in the flights -- not a ton -- and none in the hotel reservations. I am nearly certain the first of them won't happen, and I'm not sure about the second or the third. But once it's OK to travel, I am going to take every damn one of those trips and maybe more.

My first concert . . . the Bangles opened. Ah, the music of my youth . . . .

Yes, I'm feeling the same way. Many introverts value alone time, but, as you point out, "alone" time for we introverts can be in public or in the middle of other people. Also, most introverts still enjoy spending some time with their close friends to balance the alone time. What we're experiencing now is quite different. Introversion is not the same as social isolation, at least not in most cases. Think how bad it must be for the extroverts!

There might be a small element of self-interest involved, too -- you know, a stimulus package of sorts for the future. One of my guys got a little Venmo surprise this evening. Judging from the immediate reaction, it was needed and appreciated. Hopefully the forum members who are in a position to do so will send their regulars a little green love.

Cute Critters to Take Our Minds Off Everyday Stresses

I'm in tears! -
Hiring freeze for me for the time being. I am concerned about my regular guy and my regular masseur and their financial situations. I've reached out to both to check in on them, and I will likely send them some cash at some point. One of them will refuse it, I suspect - I already made the offer to that one and he didn't bite.
-
Yes, you should! Got mine in January and I love it.

I've been flying to NYC from my Midwest home every 4-6 weeks to see my regular guy and my regular masseur. Technically not an incall because the former comes to my hotel and the latter is at a spa, but . . . . I also fly 4000 miles to London a couple of times a year for soccer and sex.

My burner is a TracFone ZTE ZFive 2 running Android. I can't send or receive MMS; SMS is fine. I've done some web research on this issue, which seems an all-too-common Android problem. I've tried a lot of the suggested solutions, from switching text apps to battery pulls to fiddling around with APNs. None of this has worked. Admittedly, I haven't tried every possible APN available for TracFone, but I've tried a few and it hasn't helped. Anyone have any bright ideas?

Adam is still there. Saw him Saturday evening.

You might consider the Hiya app. The app uses a large database of spam callers and will, depending on your preferences, notify you as the call rings or block the call and send it straight to voice mail without ringing. It also has a local exchange number spoofing function that would be right up your alley. You can whitelist your contacts so it never blocks someone you know. As for legitimate callers who aren't in my contacts, I don't think I've ever had one blocked; the worst case scenario is they would go to voicemail. I use the iPhone version. I assume there's an Android version, but I'm not sure. Anyway, it's a pretty good app.
