When I order a hamburger or a deli sandwich, I usually either get it without or take it off afterwards. I'll eat salads, and I like lettuce there. But it's not really enough to make me want to buy a head of lettuce. And there are repeated news stories about bagged salads being contaminated. So I've lately I've been making a non lettuce salad consisting of chopped red onions, cherry tomatoes, and sliced olives in Ken's Steakhouse Lite Vinaigrette. It's delicious!! One of these days I'm going to add mushrooms and maybe a very small amount of sliced banana peppers. Gman

But doesn't the word dialect really imply substandardness? For example, I say/use the word y'all for the 2nd person plural instead of you. This is a southern "dialect," but I know it's not standard. And I wouldn't (more than likely?) use it in a formal paper. I might use it in a speech. But it would depend on the subject and the audience. Gman

Kareem Abdul Jabbar is 73. Does that make anyone feel old? Gman

Not too bad for 73 years old. I wish I looked this good at 59-1/2. Gman

I still have opinions. And who knows I might win a lottery one day and be able to hire. Besides looking at Rentmen is more fun than twiddling my thumbs during a pandemic lockdown. Gman

I don't disagree with you. You can certainly do that. And if I were in NYC, I might. On the other hand, if there were two or more providers that I was interested in equally, and the others had more in depth "Available For" Listings, then there's a good chance I wouldn't bother-especially when you consider a lot of guys these days don't really like long drawn out conversations from potential clients as they view them as time wasters. While it's nice that he's gay and that he lists that he's versatile, I have to hope he gets into more than his list of "Available For"indicates as it's awfully restricted. If those are his actual limits, then, for example, it doesn't really matter if he's versatile or not as he doesn't list "Anal." Gman

Thanks for the clarification. I googled Australian metrification, but I only skimmed the article and came up with 1966. I shoud have read further. ? From Wikipedia- "Metrication in Australia effectively began in 1966 with the conversion to decimal currency under the auspices of the Decimal Currency Board. The conversion of measurements—metrication—commenced subsequently in 1971, under the direction of the Metric Conversion Board and actively proceeded until the Board was disbanded in 1981." Gman

Thanks for the info about Myanmar. I didn't know that. Actually the U.K. is a mishmash. Look at RM ads. I'll bet you see many (?most) of the UK escorts from the U.K. quote their tallywacker sizes in inches. I've also read that while petrol is dispensed in liters (or litres if you prefer) that engine efficiency is still in miles per gallon. And there are other places the Imperial system still holds sway. As for the Antepode Region @mike carey is probably old enough to remember Imperial System units from his childhood as Australia went metric in 1966 although maybe not enough to actually use them. He and his classmates probably had to throw out all their old wooden rulers. What a waste!! Gman

I hope my friend @mike carey won't mind if I expound on his answer a bit for those of us mired (happily though) in the English system. "Rather mild so far. One really cold night (-4.5C) [about 24 F] but otherwise not bad. Around 12C [about 54 F] on average most days. Friday was a glorious sunny day, over 14C [about 57 F], perfect day for [bear with me here] the final Boeing 747 passenger flight in Australia, a one hour scenic flight that sold out in eight minutes when tickets went on sale. There were crowds at Canberra airport to watch is take off and land, and people out watching it do a fly-past of central Canberra." Gman

And in reference to this, how's the winter down under my antipodean friend, @mike carey? Gman

I wonder if he owns stock in a coconut oil factory? Gman -
No-I just looked at his ad. Gman

He's updated his age on his ad to 35. Gman

There's no way to answer this. It's going to be escort and situation dependent. Say you have an escort who is normally really horny in the morning. But he had a hot date, stayed at the guy's place, and they were at each other like rabbits until 4 AM. Well there's a good chance for a top not to be fully recovered at 9 AM. Or look at it this way, are you always horny at the same time on the same days? And if you are, is there never anything that could change that? Gman

I'm not so sure he's new. This may be a new ad. But he looks very, very familiar to me. If he did have an older ad, it seems to me that I remember-and I could be wrong-that he didn't list a lot of interaction on that one either. Gman
-
When I looked just now, there was a phone number listed on the mobile site. Are you signed in? On some of the ads I think the number doesn't show unless you are signed in. Gman

Welcome back! I'm glad you're still alive. As for the physique-not that I've ever had one-but what better time to regain it than during self quarantining caused by a Pandemic unless of course you are happy with the way you look now? Gman

Still hilarious!! Gman

I remember now. Gman
