I was just wondering if this was a common occurrence if you live in WEHO- running into 'porn stars'. I mean I doubt I would if I lived there #1. I don't watch a lot of it- so even if I did I wouldn't know who many of them are unless they escort #2. I thought I was bad at geography. But my lord while I'm still awful at it, I'm not as bad as her. Still I'm from a white middle/middle class background with a fairly stable family life, middle class good school (at the time although I've heard it's gone downhill since) when there was still some discipline in the classroom. The other problem of course is the super sizing of portions. Big Gulps and the like did not exist when I was a child. There were no quarter pounders- hamburgers were thin patties on smaller buns. I also am not sure if there were free drink refills. Along with the loss of the family sit down meal, less physical activity, we have increasing portion sizes snuck in on us by tr fast food industry. Soon where once 2 small McDonald's hamburgers were a normal meal, now it's two quarter pounders or two Big Macs that are normal. Our expectations of normality have changed. I didn't mean to restart a firestorm. But while I agree that normal business shouldn't be allowed to discriminate. Whether escorting is legal or not- it's a whole other ball of wax. If escorting is carried through to it's ultimate conclusion- that involves impinging into someone's personal space in a way that not even massage does. It's one thing to say I won't massage you because you are White, Black, Asian, Chartreuse and an entirely different thing to say I am able to kiss and be intimate with everyone. Following that line of reasoning, the escorts should have to take female clients if a female wanted to meet with them. And you know there are legally permissible forms of discrimination in state and out of state college tuitions come to mind. So would it be nice if there were no prejudices in this arena, yes obviously. But having an escort who is uncomfortable performing probably the deepest intimacy there is with a certain type of client is vastly different from refusing to massage someone or refusing to supply flowers or cakes to a same sex wedding. It's not that I condone discrimination. I don't. But this job/profession/avocation of escorting hits so close to what the escort does on a personal basis. I just don't know. It seems to me that if there is a type you know you aren't attracted to on a personal basis, and you know that you wouldn't be able to get beyond those feelings in a paid basis either--then this might be one of those cases where discrimination is ok to practice. Forgive me- I couldn't tell whether it was the top or the bottom you envied I had the pleasure of seeing Andrew Justice top Romann and Justin Taylor ( on different nights).
