I initially had an appointment with Chad at 27 but they canceled on me last minute as they had overbooked by mistake. 

76th and Rock Center are my typical go-to locations. Haven’t had a massage at an Equinox in recent years - always found them to be legit - but the steam rooms are another story, especially Rock Center 😜

Has anyone been to New Paradise lately? Have had some luck with extras lately much to my surprise, though not consistently. Anyone else? Also, any massage studios on the UWS? Feels like such an untouched section of the city!

I usually call while I’m en route to a spa, ask who’s available “right now,” they list them over the phone for me, and then I choose and make an appointment. This way it’s not awkward in person and I can avoid anyone I don’t want to spend my money on

I started dating a masseur right before the pandemic and we have been talking about moving in together. He works from home and the question has come up that if he’s going to have his table set up in the living room, can I just hang in the bedroom while he has a client, or should I be expected to leave the apartment entirely? My job has me out of the apartment most days anyway, but at night I’m typically home.

Pretty impressive and they seem to be on top of it regularly. Temp taken upon entry, hands squirted with sanitizer, and everything inside looks carefully cleaned and easily replaced for the next client. There seems to be - between a lack of customers and the new rules in effect - ample time between clients for them to clean and prep and ensure the next person has a fully freshly cleaned room.

Hi gents. Anyone been to PV lately and have any stories to share or suggestions for any massage places over others? There are so many, it’s all so affordable (~$50 for 60 mins!), and I’m here for the next few months and want to try out a few. You have the young masseurs hanging outside their doors all throughout Zona Romantica, you have the high-end Acqua Spa for Men, you have the Hamam Turkish Bath and Spa, you have guys advertising on all the usual apps. Any recent intel anyone want to share?

I just had a great 90 minute massage at Acqua over the weekend and while I know their reputation is that they are 100% legit, I couldn’t help but feel like my masseur was gently teasing certain areas, getting me completely erect, and then calming it all down. It felt like he was guiding me on waves of bliss followed by ultimate relaxation that was all so incredibly powerful. There was no release and no touching, but he’d removed my towel from the get-go so every inch of me was on constant display. I wonder if I return soon for a repeat with the same masseur what might happen...

Just reporting I went to Shangri La for the first time tonight and had Alex. He's very kind and hot, amazing body. G-rated massage but I loved being touched by him. Really good massage.

Anyone else having a hard time getting to a spa because of the WFH world we live in? I used to be able to say I was “working late” or maybe head out for a long lunch but now I’m tethered at home with my spouse and I can’t get an excuse to sneak away to a spa. Man do I need one.

Is your office open at all during this time? A few months ago I started going in to my office about once a week just to get some alone time (and focus better and have a "more professional" zoom backdrop etc). After a few weeks I started scheduling a massage during that "office time" and now I go weekly. Spouse assumes I'm at the office all day .
