Just curious, what’s the minimum / maximum you usually book for massage?
For me, I usually go with 90 minutes. That's my preference. If the provider is new and has no feedback here, I’ll start with 60. A few providers offer 120 minutes and I really enjoy those. There’s only one provider I book for 180 minutes, a full 3 hours. He says he can go longer, but I’ve never pushed past 180.
What about you? What’s your usual preference? 🙂

Here are the highlights:

So that’s what you can expect if you decide to book an appointment with him. I dare you…

I’m repeating myself, but I enjoyed the pleasure of Mike’s company in mid-November and was quite happy with the experience. 

Question:
if this guy is so “straightforward”, then why is “sensual” and “erotic” highlighted in his profile and one of his initial pictures are with him in a jockstrap with his bulge flexed and his butt cheek hanging out? 
 
if he were truly forthcoming, he’d be fully clothed, with only “therapeutic”, checked on his profile. 

He’s basically a slickster, enticing potential hires with innuendo and false hints of expectation, all to snooker them with “clarity” when they wind up with a wack massage and a set of blue balls. 
 
 

I had a 90-minute massage session with Calvin last week. His studio is very well equipped, cozy, and warm west of Union Square. I told him about problem areas on my back and right leg. His pressure was pretty firm throughout, but he also includes a lot of smooth lomi-lomi strokes from the shoulders down to the thighs. There was an occasional "graze" of the privates, but nothing very significant. He was in a black t-shirt and sweats (plus face mask) throughout. 
Calvin charges what we all think of as a good rate for 90 minutes: $160. He's a Thai masseur who I think used to work at M Spa in SF. 

He's coming to SF for Christmas, beware.

I saw him last week.   He’s new to the scene and doesn’t do this full time.  It’s more of a passion than a necessity.  
He’s a really nice guy who is very handsome and has a very sculpted body.   The massage is good (slightly better than average) with some nice sensual touches through.   His rates are on the higher end but not for a city like SF or NYC.  Seems like the type who gets better as he gets to know you.  I’d see him again.

He is very sexy and well-endowed in the front and the back. He was nice to talk to, made me feel comfortable, wasn’t a scammer or a drug addict. Just a normal, well-hung, sexy guy. To be honest, one of the better providers I’ve met.

I tried him out last night because he was proactive in reaching out to me that he was in San Diego.  Some might call it aggressive sales/marketing since I had contacted him in OC and couldn't make it work but I didn't really mind since he was respectful and probing vs hard-sell tactics.  
At first I thought his massage skills were below mediocre, his vibe is very energetic bordering on frenetic but he was very friendly so I went with the flow.  It was very sensual/erotic in nature, from 10 minutes in - I normally like elements but want to get 30-40 in before it goes that way since I actually like a good massage.  I digress.  As I waited on his massage skills they went up as we went along....while he was quick with his strokes it actually became relaxing and I enjoyed it more.  I would still give the skills a C+ but he is attractive and very playful.  I do think it could be YMMV situation but he was definitely more on the erotic side, less on massage.  I might repeat but only if I was looking for that type of fun, I wouldn't go out of my way to connect again.  Others that look for this, I would suggest you try him out.  It was better than I expected.  
 

Love the story.....I would give it a few weeks to see if you reaches back out to you, if not and you're still interested  I would contact him to book another "massage".  Personally, I would go into this as another business transaction and expect to pay his fee, but if he was serious in what he said the last time that may not be necessary.  Go with the flow, it could be something that felt right in the moment and you both went for it or it could be something else more sustaining but I wouldn't get your hopes up too high and just enjoy the ride for what it is.  Many of us have had great experiences with certain masseurs and have even deluded ourselves into thinking it was more, when it was just a "fling".....nothing wrong with enjoying the time together without getting crazy about it.  Life is short, enjoy!
