  1. Sometimes the "too many questions/texts" is not always on the clients. I'll cheerfully acknowledge that there are those who "chat," and those who have several questions about services, limits, etc., but only ask them 1 at a time (that would apply more to testers than emailers, I imagine). And sometimes the answers you get back don't match the questions that are asked. Once last year, for example, I was interested in hiring 2 escorts at the same time as a treat to myself. I contacted the first, and -- after making sure he was amenable to a 3-way since some are not -- I asked if rates would be different if there were a 2nd escort involved even if I was the only one being "serviced," as it were. His answer was that he didn't perform rim jobs. A total non-sequitur.. As a former escort, I get that "time is money" and that you can't spend all day talking to one person. As a client, though, I want to make sure I'm signing up for what I want, especially if I have something particular in mind. If someone says 3 texts is all they're doing (and I've seen that...on folks who don't list rates, so "how much" is one of the questions you have to ask), then I doubt I'll have enough information to feel comfortable hiring them. (Just another drawback to trying to hire someone without ever having met or laid eyes on them first....back in the day, you could at least get a drink or something while talking/negotiating...*chuckle*)

  3. In other words, it's meaningless clickbait and useless for all intents and purposes. It briefly mentions an obvious reason/exception and ignores it instead of accounting for it. Analogy: There is smoke in Northern California because of all the pot smoking. There may be the occasional wildfire that consumes hundreds of square miles, but it's really the pot smoking.
  4. I think it might have something to do with the fact that it was ILLEGAL for gay men to get married until recently. They necessarily had to wait until later in life because it was not an option when they were young (except for the current crop of twinks).

  6. I have to concur with this. If you're talking about a diagnosis, then the word "addiction" means something specific and has specific connotations. Just like if you're talking about the legal realm, the word "collusion" has a specific definition and specific connotations. Another example: In the tax realm, "income" means something very specific, and is different from the every-day use of the word. In all of those examples, the colloquial use of the words tends to be much broader than the definition in the specialized areas. If you're going to talk about one of those those areas (such as "addiction" in a diagnostic/medical/psychological context), then it's nothing but simple sophistry and sheer sloppiness to use a broader definition that doesn't necessarily apply.
  7. What do you do if a Trump supporter throws a hand grenade at you? Pick it up, pull the pin, and throw it back. --30-- It's just a joke, guys.
