  1. I actually think this is a great question. My BF is an epic bottom, and I get to watch him “go there”, while also - the majority of the time, I “see stars” too. I

occasionally top other guys, and while fun and feeling great - it’s more like a terrific animal act... but no such stars. I think with BF it’s not only our freakish compatibility, but a deep and vulnerable emotional connection.

  2. There's a new Magnum PI ? !

HAHA, yup. Few worth watching, but GOD! Jay

Wow, I need to get offline, or stop watching reruns of older shows.

The problem I have with tattoos is that I find them distracting. When I see a tattoo I tend to concentrate on the tattoo and not the person.

Especially annoying are the ones where there is sentence or a paragraph written out.

While I have to agree that ink in general has been overdone (like beards) at this point in time... I would not care if Jay Hernandez was covered in hot garbage. That smile, those eyes... I’d crawl over broken glass to get with that.

  3. With so much of importance going on in the world today it is completely self-indulgent of me to post this, but... DAYAM! Jay Hernandez is freaking BEAUTIFUL!

    That smile... holy sh*t...

  4. MadeMan Barbershop

In Chelsea located at 23rd St and 7th Avenue....

2 locations, 169/170 W 23rd St, right across the street from each other and a third location at 23rd and Broadway, 10E 23rd St.

Reasonable prices. About $30 for a regular cut, but they offer discounts for seniors/students,

Check website for more detail. Unless you have a specific barber in mind, you can walk-in.

BarberBart is indeed a great place but expensive. $50 for a haircut, request Eddie. Greta u, good barber.

Make an appointment. They book up fast. Bart charges $55.

Bart is the hunk in the first chair! LOL

    Right on! Thanks:)

  5. I've heard good things about Olde Tyme Barbers 117 E 41st Street, close by Grand Central Station. If you want something more specialized, perhaps check out the local Art of Shaving location on Madison Avenue. Have not been to either of these, my go to guy is in Queens.

    Awesome! Thank you so much!

  6. Adding my 2 cents to your great observations, the meteoric rise of the shaved/buzzed head look, which almost just screams out for facial hair ranging from a small goatee on up to a full on beard, has also done much to help advance the trend for facial hair.

Lot's of bald/buzzed head guys look great without facial hair but I think that the general consensus has been to add facial hair.

Man, can they make for a sexy & head turning combo!

Good observation indeed. And, the guys to mention almost never have unkempt necks.

  7. Yes and no. I have no doubt there are plenty of millenials (and older guys - think Letterman) who have beards because they are too lazy to shave. But most of us I think who have them still shave every day. I do - my cheeks and neck. Really not any less work than being totally clean shaven IMO.

I hear you, and bow in your honor. Part of the issue for me is geography. If I can safety stereotype in this thread - loads of Millennials in my area (Silicon Valley/SF), and as a generation... there is a heaping herd of lazy groomers. I am on a mission to change a trend that is SO much bigger than me!

  8. Going out on a limb here. All of these replies speak to personal taste, but few address the laziness of guys hiding behind the beard trend when it’s really just laziness. The distinction for me is shaping on the face and neck. I just want to shake some of the otherwise hot guys... go full on Cher, and smack them with a “SNAP OUT OF IT!”.

  9. My partner and I recently celebrated our 50th anniversary living together. After the first three honeymoon weeks together, we both admitted that we were attracted to other men as well, and the only way our relationship was likely to survive was if we were honest about it. Therefore, we accepted the fact that sex with others was going to happen, maybe even affairs--they did--and we shared the necessary information about who we were sleeping with. We also had an understanding that, because we loved each other, we would let one another go if one of those other relationships reached that level of importance that one of us wanted to leave. It got close a couple of times, but we always decided that our relationship was too important to us, and we split with the potential new partner. I started hiring escorts partly because it eliminated the potential for emotional involvement. In 2013, we got married, and we have been monogamous ever since. (OK, OK! I'll admit it has been easy, since we don't get any other offers nowadays.)

Incredible, thoughtful, honest reply. Thank you, Man. Wishing you two deep love and a rich life.

  10. What's with all the beards??? I know it's a matter of personal taste (not mine) like tattoos or hirsute guys, but is it me, or do lots more men have beards now? I see so many I would hire if they did not.

YES! This trend has been in play for years now, and I am wishing it will pass. Well-groomed guys with beards can be hot, but the hipster trend moved into plain ol’ lazy slob territory. Lots of guys sport neck hair which is just plain unkempt. Give me a clean-cut guy with a fresh shave ANY day. It’s become a novelty in the Bay Area to find a clean, shaved face - just as it is to find a guy without tattoos.

Personal taste varies of course, but - my wish is that the slobs start taking some pride and grooming with or without facial hair. Shape that mess!

  11. Just an unofficial poll. I come across so few gay relationships where they are open and sharing details with their partner. Most say there is a “don’t ask, don’t tell” dynamic.

Would love to hear from the guys who make this work with the partner they love?
