How do you overcome a sex addiction?  I cannot seem to get enough sex and massage.
When I am not having sex, I find myself going online and looking for gay sex porn.
It is really creating issues for my life since it is such a distraction.
If others have experienced the same issue, how did you overcome it?

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer three years ago and was under active surveillance.  Early this year my cancer changed and my urologist recommended I seek treatment.  After consultations with many different doctors and differing recommendations of what to do I decided to have a robotic prostatectomy.  I had a complicating factor in that my prostate was quite large and was bulging into my bladder which was causing constant bladder and UTI infections.  Therefore, removal made the most sense for me since I was taking care of two issues.
As one of the previous people mentioned you need to really evaluate your own situation and the various factors since everyone is different and the form of treatment can vary depending upon the situation.  I decided that I could not live with the cancer inside of me and as I mentioned I needed to take care of the enlarged prostate issue as well.
The robotic surgery was very successful.  I had it done at Stanford Hospital.  I was able to achieve erections after about one month and the urinary incontinence has gone about two months after surgery.   Those are the two biggest risk factors with the surgery.
I am very happy with my decision to have the robotic surgery.  If you would like more information feel free to reach out to me.

I think there is a bit of confusion between orgasm and ejaculation.  You can continue to have orgasms after removing the prostate.  I had my prostate removed and my orgasms are better than they were before.  There is something called Kegel exercises which they tell you to do after a radical prostatectomy.  It actually enhanced my orgasm in a way I never felt before.
Men dealing with prostate cancer have many factors to consider on whether to be treated and if so which treatment to pursue.  If you cannot give up ejaculations and are not worried about the potential spread of cancer then don't do anything.  However, if continuing to have orgasms is the most important thing you can still be treated for prostate cancer (at least with a radical prostatectomy) and enjoy orgasms and perhaps even more powerful ones.

It was not something I learned it simply occurred after my prostate was removed since I can no longer have an ejaculation, however, I can still have an orgasm so I have a dry orgasm.
Those who still have a prostate can also have a dry orgasm, however, it involves pressing on the so called MDP (Million Dollar Point) which is also called the perinium.  It is the tube between the anus and the testicles.  It is my understanding if you push on this location when you are close to ejaculating it will stop the semen from coming out and you will have an intense climax with no ejaculation.

Luvmassage reacted to Damien Black in Masseur best practices...
Everyone here has really nailed it from both the client and the masseur side. I wish I knew about this forum when I first started, would have saved me a lot of meh experiences.

As a masseur/scort my advice would be(sorry for repeats, I feel they are important enough to read again):

-DO go with your gut, if you get a bad feeling through a call, imagine the feeling you’ll get when you knock on the door, instinct is usually right and although it only happened once, I had to leave a service halfway into it, and that’s me, and I’m an “anything goes” fetish friendly experience, so imagine the amount of creep it takes to make me walk out the door.

-DO get a professional scheduling app(online scheduling if you can) to keep track of appointments, even better if clients can see your schedule and book their own appointments.

-DO be open minded. Even if you want to be 100% legit and therapeutic, clients make requests constantly, always consider them and their comfort, I have done strictly therapeutic massages nude because I have clients that are more comfortable not being the only one naked in the room. There is nothing wrong or illegal about 2 adults being nude in a room together, you can relax some and still be a legit professional.

-DO NOT take appointments that you can’t keep. When you start out you are fresh meat and you’ll get a sudden influx of appointments, don’t let it go to your head, you are being tested, do well and word will spread.

-DO NOT use your phone during appointments! I have an iPhone and I turn on driving mode and set up an auto reply that states I’m in an appt and will get back immediately after, that way people know I’m busy, not ignoring them, and clients don’t have a therapist hovering over his phone.

-BIOTONE period. Coconut oil is a good 2nd Incase they prefer oil.

Lastly, be fair, charge the standard rate in your area FOR THE SERVICES OFFERED, don’t charge $150 an hour for a therapeutic, at the same time don’t lowball yourself, don’t charge $50 an hour for erotic(or people will think you are either terrible at it or desperate). Price takes practice and fine tuning, you’ll find what is both fair to clients and gets you enough appointments to pay your bills.

It’s all about the regulars. They are loyal, they deserve more, go with a regular over a new guy if you have to pick one, and I ALWAYS give my regulars free upgrades. Over deliver consistently.

Sorry it’s so long, TLDR Don’t get cocky, treat your regulars with the respect they deserve, be creative and be ready for some situations you didn’t prepare for.
