This Salontalks YouTube video crosses over both entertainment and political categories. I'll post it here since KG is an entertainer, one that I like quite a bit. However it is a deep dive that also covers civil rights, as well as her business prowess. There is some surprising stuff in here I was not aware of. For example, I had no idea Harvey Levin of TMZ is a huge Trump supporter and part of the coordination to punish KG. She does have a film in the can that would be nice to see screened somewhere, though she is up against a lot of resistance right now. Her Colbert appearance has over a million YouTube hits. This Salon vlog has relatively few hits, though it is far more worthy of a listen IMO.

The DVD included director commentary as well as a screening Q&A, so a lot of questions are answered. Don't want to spoil anything, but the movie may have added interest for folks from the NYC area.

In a sense it is unfair how the movie floats along at the beginning, that we should accept the subject matter is worthy. And then suddenly, it is. Very worthy and inciteful. Food for thought, as a good documentary might want to be.

Thank you for sharing this. Side note: I met a Norwegian woman last night at Christmas dinner that, when she was a schoolgirl, was in London for Elizabeth's coronation. So interesting to hear about her experience. The Queen has seen so much over the decades. I expect her opinion of today's political affairs is framed by so much more wisdom then most people could fathom. Her comments about the capacity for good and for evil struck a chord with me. There will never be another head of state quite like her.
