Not knowing anything about the charges i'd still expect that you are small potatoes to the police.

I'm reading The World of Normal Boys by K. M. Soehnlein for The Lambda Literary book club meeting coming up in WEHO. Not sure yet if this one is a Must Read, although I must, because I'm taking part in the club discussion! http://www.kmsoehnlein.com/normalboys/images/entire_cover_rotate_brown.gif I'd recently read the first 2 of Edmund White's autobiographical trilogy and look forward to the 3rd part, The Farewell Symphony. .

Has anyone tried Dalton Huckaby lately? I'll be over in his area, so wondering how his sessions are. His rates seem reasonable. PM me if you prefer to share details that way.

I'll write some copy for the add. Want something fresh waiting on your kitchen counter in the morning? Calvin Klein buns. Love to be squeezed.

My dog was on it for a while, an internal therapy to help with a chronic issue. After one month I was done with it. Seemed to add to his problems. I may try it again, but in no hurry.

Kacey Musgraves will be in Palm Springs at Coachella same weekend as the Palm Springs weekend gathering. MIght be fun to watch the livestream on YouTube. Here is a clip of her performance last night in LA. She brought RuPaul drag race winners on stage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KjhEEYvgUI:145

I've had similar thoughts as you @kjb176. After Trump was elected, the racists and homophobes act as if their hatred has been validated. Like Ellen Page warned on Colbert recently, people need to "connect the dots." I am sorry to hear such behavior was directed at you. I do question if small town life is the answer, though I don't claim to have the answers. Thankfully there are plenty of cool people that are available for gay men to socialize with compared to 30 years ago, right? Whenever I feel down about how many a-holes live where I live, I try to focus on how many noble, good people are around me.

Just watched first 2 episodes of Jordan Peele's scify anthology Weird City, on YouTube. Looks like I may have hit a pay wall as I'm trying to watch additional episodes. Dylan O'Brien was pretty good in epi 1. He's a favorite.

I agree. Wow. He was just in SoCal too. Maybe someone tried him?

Variety's music editor was on our public radio tonight, all gushy about how great the show was. Shawn Mendes was definitely pretty and sounded great with Miley https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UANAqFN_e7Y:60 Kasey Musgraves best album Grammy was a stunner. She is awesome.

I loved the whole show. Miley Cyrus duo with Shawn Mendes started the show off with a bang Loved them. Later she sang with Dolly Parton. Fantastic. I loved Cardi B's acceptance speech, but perhaps I'm getting maudlin these days. Same for Casey Musgrave. How sweet! So glad they gave best album to Musgrave, real music, not performance art. I didn't care much for GaGa's performance but I loved the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Was a tremendous treat to watch Dolly Parton perform After the Gold Rush. Same for Diana Ross, Reach Out and Touch, The In Memorium got me all verklempt. I'd lost track of how many transitioned in the last year. Surprised to see Fantasia during the Aretha tribute. Always liked Fantasia. Alicia Keys was a great host. The one thing that gets me down at these LA award shows is when the winners thank Jeebuz or God (like Gaga did) yet I know just down the street are so many homeless people. I guess God didn't choose them.

Won't you be my neighbor? A new documentary on Mr Rogers
+ E.T.Bass replied to + FreshFluff's topic in Movies
Watched it tonight on PBS SoCal. Most folks that grew up watching Mr. Rogers Neighborhood should see this movie. Near the end the movie touched on how daunting life has sadly become all these years since he passed, but also held out a glimmer of hope. Quite a poignant well done documentary. The scene of King Friday building a wall against change was strikingly eerie. -
Long before Oprah and Phil Donahue, Chicago had Bozo. Returning this month, to WGN. http://townsquare.media/site/723/files/2019/02/BOZO_WGN_News_Via_YouTube_.png?w=980&q=75

In the changing room at the public swimming pool. Trying to remember how young, maybe 2nd or 3rd grade. My dad and brothers were changing and nearby was a man changing. I was astounded by his cock. I suddenly realized he was glaring at me.
