The Organ 2

I was grinding away at work one evening years ago listening to my ClassicFM from London in the background when my ears could not ignore a violin concerto I was not familiar with. Was the 1st movement of the Korngold Violin Concerto, the artist Gil Shaham. New York critics panned it as the Hollywood Concerto but is still part of the repertoire after 75 years. Is on my bucket list to see performed live. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EsYUuGo8XA:274
2. One of the better attempts on HBO. I like it.
3. Nick Jonas was great, IMO.
4. He didn't see himself projected in the gay constructs dished out by the networks or reflected by most YouTube influencers. Based on how many Instagram followers he now has, perhaps he is past that concern. I understand he dropped out of college and joined the army.

7. Are there one or two free Sites you recommend?
8. Is Master Chen in NYC?
9. What changed at Consumer Reports? I was planning to subscribe for researching my next car.
10. Suze Orman appears frequently on my public TV, during subscriber events. Tonight, for $6.00/month subscription, you get a DVD copy of tonight's financial advise. For $21.00/month you get the DVD and a thank you gift of books and her ultimate retirement package. My question is what is her cut of the subscription donation? I understand she is worth around $75,000,000 so she isn't hurting for money. But there must be some level of income she commands for appearing. I venture a guess that she donates all the DVD revenue but takes a big chunk of the $21 x 12 months level.
11. If someone is paying their rent, is that allowing them to remain stuck? There are a lot of talented folk that are working actors. They have a job. Buddy of mine does Improv, but he does I.T. to make ends meet.
12. A toxic culture in tinseltown? Might take awhile to find anything better. It is what it is.
13. Once in awhile my ears prick up listening to the radio as I commute home. This week I heard about a documentary premiering on all HBO platforms called Stockton on My Mind. A group of independent reviewers join for the radio program to discuss several new films each week. If you forward to 11:00 you can hear Lael Loewenstein, KPCC film critic and film columnist for the Santa Monica Daily Press discuss this one, about the plight of Stockton and their young mayor. Sounds good. Edit: I watched the film. Glad I did. For me, a hopeful message.
14. I got it wrong so often, especially with women.

16. There are 6 threads about the gay purge in Chechnya. Since this thread is specifically about the documentary, I'll post this follow up recording of a Zoom event here. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=711660119379711

18. It seems the channel name stays the same but the guys cycle out. This guy was a lot of fun, But the recent guys look pretty rough, not trim and tidy. Again, that's me, what I like.
19. I was in love with Joshua Tree when I came here years ago. Friends scatter and we get older. It's been a few years since I've been there.
