i have over a million miles each on the 3 US majors and 1 1/2 million on British plus some others and a lot of hotel points. I also have a lot of close escort friends i like to fly in from Europe. Christmas before last I took my #1, #2, #3 and 2 others to Key West for a week on a non-stop commuter AA flight from DCA and it hardly made a dent in my miles. I think it was 16K each rt on BA miles. Everyone loved the idea and trip. Flying someone in from Europe is usually 50-60 rt but often from Europe on a rt cash is better. RT's from Europe are cheap. If I have a ton of miles still, I'll use them myself for Asia or Australia Biz class. That will eat them up fast. I'll never do the other side of the world, as much as i love it, coach again unless it's with long stopovers in Europe and south Asia. i would never fly in someone i've never met though. you have no idea until in person about the chemistry. (and that works both ways).

Wawa is pretty much everywhere now with gas station/sub shops in the east from New Jersey to Florida. It's traditional rival Scheetz is more limited. There are even downtown Wawas in DC without gas.. i think most of our advice is that if you can, do! few of us ever look back or regret retiring. 80% take-home pension works out to about the same as working expenses etc with 100%. (not that being in handcuffs is a bad thing for those so inclined lol).

do not expect to actually see much rent. be aware if there's any legal controversy between the parties you will be dragged in as renting the facility and possibly subject to civil and/or criminal liability. many of the big money cities, like DC, have made Airbnb places subject to most hotel registration and inspection and tax withholding rules.
