AT&T ownership has so fucked HBO. I have the same issue. A subscription gives you sign-in rights to HBO and HBO Max, but using HBO Max is a lot harder and you cannot sign into HBO Max through HBO ! I have a new LG OLED tv and AT&T made a deal with Samsung not to have an HBO Max app for WebOS that LG uses. FIOS (and RCN) do not have HBO Max apps. Android TV does have an HBO Max app so I can watch it on my cheap tv in my den native. I also have HBO through Amazon but Amazon does not have HBO Max yet, only HBO and you have to sign in through a computer to use HBO Max. I have a computer on my tv but HBO Max will not show in HD on it, only SD. I've also tried linking my HBO Max to my Hulu as Hulu is a native app on my LG, but then the HBO Max on Hulu is really weird and only has a few shows with no search. If Amazon or Hulu don't fix HBO Max. my final thing will be to get a cheap Roku stick because HBO Max is an app on it. For now I'm watching all these great new HBO Max movies in SD though through my computer tied to my tv. See if you have Android tv. If not try Hulu (free trial week of Hulu and HBO Max). If not either hope Amazon gets HBO Max or get a Roku stick. Also HBO gives a 20% discount for subscribing directly through them. I've had HBO 40 years- since the old rooftop antennas that were only for HBO and cost $30/mo. I hate to see HBO so messed up now. It's programming is still #1.

Binged it. It's good. They (too briefly) depict Heaven pretty much like it was then.

#1 contender for Best Movie of the Year will stream for free only on Hulu starting 2/19. Hulu has a free trial month now that makes it a deal for 1 month. Other shows I'd highly advise watching on Hulu during a free week are Taboo (Tom Hardy) and Harlots min-series and, of course, God's Own Country movie. All for Free. It's about a new trend of seniors selling all and going nomad for financial reasons. Francis McDermand may well get Best Actress. Do I take legal action or do I take the difficult "high road"?

besides the other numerous caution flags, this is the flashing red one. You.Are.Gay. Believe all the kumbaya stuff you want about how cops are fine with gays at your peril. It sounds like he's well-liked by cops and you most likely will become the "target", not him. You very likely will be charged with conspiracy for even knowing of the crimes even if he's the main criminal. He may well get off scot-free for giving information on you. It's perverse how many times police let the big criminal off for giving information on underlings or aiders. And in cases involving gay men it's common to also do a "child pornography" witch hunt. That can take a year. And if you have to cut a deal on anything federal, including "conspiracy" you may be re-thinking this in federal prison for the next few years after it's "over". It's not who's good and who's bad or guilty v. innocent. It's all about who's the target and you seem like a target. He doesn't. Don't step into this quicksand -
I spent 5 summers "learning to swim" at the YMCA. Before gay awareness the belief was that unnecessarily wearing clothes around other men indicated you might be gay or pansy.

Suffocation is risky. when I tried an N95 I would pull it away from my mouth to speak, pull it away to inhale every few times, etc so it ended up being riskier. I feel for people in jobs that really need to use N95's.

South Africa's well into DC but double masks keep getting in my eyes and N95's are too hard to breathe in. the KN95 shape is better. i find my best is a surgical mask under a neck gaiter. two more weeks after my booster and I'm back to single surgicals even indoors in public.

I'd caveat that with maybe a consensus of friends/people. Listening to a hothead friend, no matter how otherwise intelligent and respected, can be a big mistake. I have a couple who I've learned the hard way to usually do the reverse of their urging even if I was originally inclined to the same thinking. Bad inclination + hothead good friend can = disaster. -

1st memory - An old 1949 Nash we had and how the seats all made a double bed for what were then 2-day trips to see my mother's family 150 miles away.

In DC there's little status to any sort of car. It's having a driver. -

and you have no idea the joy of having a $20 tip in your hand as you look in a Mercedes and say " this one's nice, but it has over 5000 miles on it, can we get a little newer one?" used cars? -

If you have status and a great corp code with a big rental co. (like National) and a friendly (ie-tippable) big location, renting as needed can also be fun. For 2 years I got mostly BMW 420 convertibles almost every week in warm weather from National for about $150/wk. New clean maintained one every week. Like a kid in a candy store picking out the lux car for the week. Some have under 100 miles. If you travel a lot even better. -

Nuts is only if you haven't thought about it, but sometimes even impulse decisions are right. (*Not usually, but sometimes*) -
Now in theaters and on HBO Max free. Even though beloved HBO seems to be in an AT&T takeover death spiral, there are a lot of new Warner movies free now (unlike FBI/MLK which came out for King's birthday but had a $6.99 charge to watch). This movie, FBI/MLK, and Trial of the Chicago 7 are of the same time. FBI is a narrated documentary, Chicago 7 is a slightly revisionist story and Judas is a pretty accurate (and revealing) drama of the FBI's murder of Fred Hampton and a few others for fear they would become the feared "Black Messiah". Hampton was especially feared because not only was he very young, but he had successfully assembled a unique Rainbow Coalition of Blacks, poor whites, Puerto Ricans, and others. I like how the movie avoids any documentary aspect and has really good personal drama between the actors. You feel the tension and the fear but also the relationships and the joys. It really is a contender for best movie of the year.
