Now is it possible to create and maintain a six pack after 40? Well of course. I see it all day long at the gym. There are guys who are well into there 50's and beyond with incredible bodies, so it is possible, just difficult.

Well, that's nice to hear. I just saw myself in the mirror the other day and noticed something, with that particular lighting: "I can still see my abs! I can still see my abs! I'm almost 50 and can still see my abs!"

So it's nice to hear that it was hard work and not too much else that got me there.

Subject matter aside, am I the only one who thinks this thread's TITLE is damn awesome?? I mean, gratuitous alliteration like that just...DOES something to this Word Nerd!

So I guess it really is out there and there's a variety of causes.

Has anyone else noticed this? After a certain point, some gym bunnies no longer have flat abs, but develop a still-muscular but protruding stomach. I've especially noticed it in men my age (49) and older.

It has always looked to me like they have over-exercised the area or something, and it had no place left to go but outward.

For my third choice I'd have to turn myself inside out choosing between Hugh Jackman or Ewan McGregor.

Both seem like the sort of guys who would try hard to make sure both of us had a good time in bed, and even harder since they're straight!
