To echo everyone's comments Steamworks is hands down the best bathhouse and from my understanding the Chicago location is the best of that chain; second would be the Toronto location.
 
There's always a plethora of gents there with the weekends being the busiest starting after 11pm. Thursday night lights out can be quite erotic and I've almost always left there having got out of it what I wanted. I actually prefer the slower times as the weekends can get so busy it's just a stream of guys that constantly roam the building looking for the hottest guy there.
 
Only downside (at least for me) is that many times if you do make a connection and it's in a common area so e guys take that as open invitation to join in, which I completely understand and acknowledge is what turns the cranks of some. For this reason I always spring for a room for some privacy. Enjoy! I'm jealous. Work used to take me up there regularly and I'd go every time, but it's been more than a year since my last foray.

I do not believe that you owe him a refund. You provided the agreed upon service sufficiently . As Judge Judy would say "He ate the Steak".
 
As far as the allergic reaction goes, you as the professional could have asked him if he had any allergies,...but ultimately it's up to him to let his sensitivities be known.
 
If you want to show good will, you could offer him a discount on his next session...using a different lotion of course. However, he may not choose to return.

I find it frustrating that relatively few people on this forum tend to come forward with their experiences and/or information. To the point that I am likely to stop responding to PM requests for information by people who never contribute in the public forum and/or never gave me any useful information in private. I mean, come on, guys, you can't only take, gotta contribute too.

Here's another approach to consider that might provide the opportunity to move things forward but also a relationship saving "out" should he not be interested or ready to provide any additional services.
 
The next time you're on the table, assuming the same thorough leg and butt massage and your same reaction, think about saying something along the lines of "I'm sorry, you're going to need to slow down. This feels so good, it's gotten me kind of excited. I'm kind of embarrassed. I apologize."
 
In this approach you are being very respectful of him, apologizing for something that's an uncontrollable response to the massage he's providing. He has the choice to continue what he's doing knowing that you're excited, or stop if that was not his intention. It doesn't put you or him in the situation where you're asking for help and he has to agree or decline. It might be hard for him (excuse me) to verbally acknowledge his interest or consent, but he may be OK continuing what you're doing without verbally acknowledging it.
 
If he continues, I wouldn't push it. I'd let what happens, happen even if it's just you letting fly solo. If he does continue, you might consider one more warning - "man if you keep going I think I'm going to cum".
 
I'd be profuse in my gratitude and ensure the tip reflects that gratitude. You can see what happens the next time. Maybe things will go even further.

I wouldn't call Vince "hung" although he does a great massage and is built and strong and is a super nice guy. Franz for me was just OK in all aspects. Thick, but not huge.
 
Kevin is pretty well hung, but is hit and miss. And I hear Caleb is well hung too, although I don't have first hand experience. Rambo has done some porn so you can google that - seems to be decently hung.

Kev is a very talented masseur who makes the extra effort to provide a true spa like experience. You will undoubtedly get a first rate therapeutic massage. It's been a while since I've seen him, so I can't attest to the current sensual aspects, but I'll just say that in the past I've left quite satisfied with the experience.

I've heard Lance Navarro gives a good massage, but honestly when I am next back in SF, I am not sure I could hold myself back from not wanting to try out his stellar kissing skills, touch him all over, and dive deep into that fur.......

Ok, so here’s a new one. Coming in two weeks. Interesting. Anyone ever tried him? Red flags all over, but thos pictures. Hmmm.

I’ve always gone for a more sensual massage, but I’ve always asked from the start if there is a pricing difference. I’ve always asked for deep pressure which most cannot seem to provide even if they advertised they could. But they play part is always good. I usually don’t ask what “happens” before I meet the masseur but I definitely get clarification that mutual touching is allowed. What happens during is pretty much “play as you go” type of thing.

If a masseur is in a relationship, there is a considerable personal cost to engaging in more intimacy with a client. Plus, it's typically more than one way touching, so I actually like the clarity that the double pricing conveys. I'll probably go with the therapeutic version first but if I find that I click with the masseur and like him, I may want to opt for a massage in a more relaxed and permissive environment. Without any expectation he'd be "into me," although I certainly wouldn't mind if that happened.

I'm afraid that I don't understand therapists that have two-tiered pricing. I almost always seek out certified/licensed therapists. I expect nothing more than a good deep tissue massage, not even an HE. If the chemistry is right, though, I'll let the session go wherever it wants to go.
 
The 2-tiered guys are saying, "I'll touch you everywhere but 'there' unless you pay me more." As I see it, we're paying for their time and their skill. If a therapist wants extra moo-lah to get near the erogenous zones, that is a turn-off for me in general. I mean, is it harder for them to work the glutes and groin area? In the specific case of Dave, he is a good therapist, but there are better. He's also somewhat "off." I can't put my finger on it, but my guess is that he's been kicked around a bit.
 
It would be easy to say that we didn't click, but we kind of did on some levels. Nevertheless, my sixth sense said that a few visits were enough.

Kevin has a long history of flaking and his massage is hit or miss.
 
As for your offer of a free massage - maybe meet in a public place first.

In Chicago, I've had the chance to enjoy time with Jake a couple times....he'll send a clear, unobstructed face pic on request (good looking stud).....he used to have an appealing (& more revealing) ad on RM for his massage services....but now just on massage sites, I think.....also his ads indicate away from Chicago on a Florida tour the 2nd half of January.....but generally for Chicago - good / great choice.......(bod mechanic Kevin used to hold some interest for me but some details & bad press about him on these boards killed that interest for me.....& also since I'm a bit of an admitted ageist when it comes to hiring, whatever Kevin's actual age is by now might probably be older than my own interests go.
