I never give the age gap any thought anymore. I’ve aged well and am gregarious and funny and even surprise guys in their early 20’s when we do something outside like a 3 mile run. In some ways age is a social construct.

I’ve been to Prague and may either end the trip there or in Warsaw. Not sure I want to visit there at the end of August, however, given the throngs of tourists. I do want to see Krakow and L’vov, though, after spending some time in Kiev. Ukraine built a high-speed rail system that connect Kiev with Kharkiv, Odessa and L’vov, then on to Poland. Has anyone been to Kiev? The Ukrainian guys look gorgeous.

Yes, there have been a number of nasty posts all over the place. I’m sure books are being planned already.

The local blogs suggest that Woodward picked him up at his house, which wasn’t far from Borrego Park near the Bernstein house. I know that area reasonably well since I lived near the beach in south OC for over 30 years. That part of OC turns pretty desolate and mountainous very quickly. It’s the Santa Ana Mountains, which the notorious Santa Ana winds are named for. I’ve gone mountain-biking there a lot.

Maybe some hiking in the Carpathians.

I’ll be spending quite some time in Eastern Europe this summer and look forward to spending time in places that fascinated me when I was a kid: Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and the other former Yugoslav republics.

We met the wrong kind of “Romanians” and my travel companions were threatened by them. I was up all night and left on the first flight back to Prague. There were some sinister elements around in those days.

Boys like that are walking all over Reykjavik. I never saw so many hotties.

Too bad I joined this forum so recently! I’d have loved to join the April get-together! I’ll be in Europe at the time. Can’t wait to hear how it goes.

I had a not so pleasant experience there in 2001, but the city itself is really beautiful. The Pest side was compared to Paris early in the 20th century, but the city was almost destroyed in 1945 and had to be rebuilt. There were still bullet holes in the old buildings on Andrassy Utca from WW2 and the 1956 Revolution.

He’s also a superb dresser.

Some local OC sites are speculating that Woodward may have been outed by Blaze on social media. They said that Woodward was deeply closeted and that his homophobia was a reflection of that. That may be the motive, as well as a possible rejection. We can expect a lot to come out over the next week. Never been interested in a cruise, and based on comments above, it doesn’t seem as if that kind of an outing would end well.

Over the years, I’ve found that terser communications are now the norm and I deal with that fact. Also, if you’re interested in engaging a hot 20-something, you also may need to sell yourself as a client, as annoying as that may be to some forum contributors. Some of the hotties whom I’ve met have stated that my approach and attitude persuaded them to meet with me rather than others. We’re dealing with young men who perhaps aren’t always sure they want to jump into this line of work; however, among that cohort I’ve found many hotties with whom I’ve developed longer-term and very satisfactory relationships. I’ve learned to leave my ego behind when engaging some very desirable candidates and have been well rewarded.

Fortunately, I haven’t had the flu since 1993 and I’ve gotten the flu shot the last 2 years.

Funny story: about 12 years ago an escort from San Diego and I spoke by phone before our meeting and we both thought a leather session could be hot. He was a 20-something smooth twink with dark curly hair. Anyway, he knocks at my house door and when I opened the door he was standing there in full leather, with his hot ass framed in black leather chaps and wearing high black engineer boots. It was nighttime, but the front light was on. I always wondered if any of the neighbors saw him getting out of his car and walking to my door!
