Someone just quoted me $400 in Chicago. I did not respond. I do not haggle over rates....I either accept what they offer or I move on. I guess I might do $400 for the porn guy of my dreams (Quentin Gainz), but not the vast majority of guys. The $400 was for a very basic /vanilla scene...nothing specialized like FF.

I am perfectly willing to send pics before I meet with someone (I think I have always done so). I also understand the issue of time wasters these guys face. But for this to be his initial and only response to the message I sent him just struck me the wrong way.

Reply with physical stats like age/race/height/weight/grooming style if you haven't done so already. Don't write him off just yet. I'm guessing this has been discussed before. I sent a note to a guy on RM indicating that I was coming to town, liked his profile, and wanted to see if he was into the scene I was looking for. Without any other info or response to my message he simply replied "Do you have clear photos of yourself".
Now I have problem eventually providing a photo before I meet up with someone. But that this is his initial response completely put me off. I am hiring him, not the other way around. That is the end of it as far as I am concerned.
