Could not agree more. It is a wonderful city now. Like most beach resorts and the new mega-hotel-resort complexes up on the north end, you still have a wonderful older core. You just have to see past the sameness of the new places and then you can soak up a great place just to walk around, have dinner, have drinks, meet lots of interesting people from all over the world, meet lots of interested Mexican people who live, work, vacation there, and, yes, you might meet people from anywhere who are interested in a fun time and sex. PV is so much more than just that last one.
