UPDATE: I noticed that the location on the profile changed to Milan, and I found him on Hunqz, which confirmed it. Oh well!

Thanks! I'll put something up closer to when I go. In general though, when you come across an attractive profile with limited info, is it better just to find someone else and not bother with a potentially sketchy situation? Or any advice for how to proceed in a situation like this?

That seems odd, but not sure how much of a red flag it is
