  1. something off about this guy.  I asked if he was available tonight and he replied yes, can i see a pic.  I described myself but said I didn't have a pic to send, and he asked if tomorrow works.  I said again looking for tonight, and he said can't do tonight.  Big red flag for me, and glad I didn't send a pic.

I’m honestly surprised and disappointed to still see articles like this in 2021. In NYC too! It’s ironic how the article points out that there are more massage parlors than Starbucks. Which I guess would mean there are more people out there wanting services than coffee…so there is definitely a demand. 100% agree with the above poster. Legalize and regulate it.

Well, I can make better coffee for cheaper at home.  Until Sharper Image comes out with a massage chair that can blow me....

It's vitally important that, in the U.S. at least (I'm not sure about laws elsewhere), the masseur's livelihood NOT be put in jeopardy because of erotic, sensual or sexual talk. The NY State licensing board, for instance, will remove a person's license for what they consider "inappropriate" behavior even though the Manhattan DA said back in April 2021 that he would stop prosecuting prostitution.

Please be mindful of this. It's why THIS forum discourages that very kind of review.

I would suggest only including masseurs who advertise on MF/RM/A4A and even then, details about "extras" should not be very specific. Licensed professionals/spa workers, in the US at least, could have their reputations and/or licenses threatened. In these cases, I think vague forum comments and direct messages are best.

  4. Yes but realistically, the fact they are not advertising in places like rentmasseur etc would suggest they probably DON'T want to be discussed on a site like this and then have to deal with expectations they are not prepared to meet from random new clients.

Agree with you there, at the very least shouldn't have their licenses/careers compromised by being publicly discussed on these boards. I thought I was fine with DM's but you're right... never considered new clients with expectations.

  5. Sorry but as a public service I need to add my 2 cents to all this Gio love. I've seen him twice. Both times massage was on a bed and massage skills were C+/B-. Sensuality is above average but way too fast. Shorted me by 20 minutes on both visits. Also speaks in that sort of condescending, fake manner of a stripper who's trying to get you into the VIP room, which is a turnoff for me. I've now learned my lesson that the first time wasn't a fluke. Obviously a lot of people have had good experiences with him but just wanted to add another viewpoint.

  6. image search leads to a fitness coach likely based in Missoula, MT.......one IG picture is of him with a woman who "has made all the difference" in his life or similar......

    reporting it to RM.....

Is there a trick to reverse image search? Every time I try, I get like "man" or "hat" or "standing".

  7. There was a guy I went to a few times that would pretty much chug a gallon of water during the massage. He would inevitably have to pee in the middle of the massage, and do so like a racehorse, loudly and with the door open. I realized eventually that he must have some sort of fetish about people hearing him piss. On the other hand, he was really cheap and offered a nice pre-massage body scrub so... I guess the jokes on me because I went back 4 or 5 times.

  8. In a truly legit spa, I find pointing my cock downwards between my legs feels a little aggressive. If I'm not already hard when I flip onto my back, I position my dick to the left or right over my thigh, so that it doesn't look obvious but the masseur will have to deal with it (or not deal with it) when draping for legwork. I also leave my hands at the side of the table so that they can brush themselves against it if they are trying to test the waters.

That said, most masseurs at legit places aren't going to risk their livelihood on jerking off some new client they just met. Even if the guy is willing, it might take several visits to establish a rapport.
