There are actually many sites to post "reviews"(comments) and phone numbers of people you don't like and to try making their lives harder. These postings will be on the first page if someone will googlesearch a phone number. Clients and escorts use such sites from time to time against each other

Once again, Marcelo is one of my personal favorites. I have met him 6 times. But I will respect a different point of view. My personal kind of love towards Marcelo doesn't even affect the Admin's comment about him on Rentboy.pro much.

Admin's comments on Rentboy.pro are not just recommendations, they are not just positive. It's something to think about. The comment about Marcelo for example doesn't recommend the profile pics, but recommends the guy. Rentboy.pro doesn't like the pics and tells about it. Photos look similar to the real Marcelo, but Marcelo looks better in fact. That's why we thought the pictures could be taken during his hard pharmacology time.
Also Rentboy.pro system now allows you to post your comment/review about every guy too. So it's just democracy. Rentboy.pro shares the crew's opinions with you guys, tells about good and about NOT so good aspects and of course doesn't dictate anything.

Backpage is obviously doing a CYA in the post-Rentboy era. They are making sure that, if the guys in the ads have anything to do with escorting, they'll be providing that info on another web site (e.g. Tumbler, FB, etc.) - or, on the telephone. I'm surprised they haven't just shut the "men seeking men" section down altogether. It sure is aggravating that the links are mostly non-functioning but not surprising given that other social media don't want to become a haven for this activity. I suspect that another reason that most of the links are fake is because most of the photos on Backpage are fake too.
