  1. Fortunately no prepay......Wasted about 2 hours.....took me 30 minutes to get there and then another 30 to get home.

Makes you wonder if he double-booked, had a hook-up, or just didn't feel like massaging that day. Sorry that cost you time, but at least you didn't pre-pay.

  2. I met with Rustie once and it was very good. Our second meeting was a disaster. We had appt scheduled and he texted hotel/room number. Upon arrival he came to door and said he had a client with him and could I wait 15 minutes. Sure no problem. 15 minute later I knock on door and no answer. 30 min later knock on door no answer.

That's....something. I assume he never followed up with an explanation. Hope you wrote a scathing review on a site where he couldn't take it down.

I've had masseurs cancel sessions ahead of time (and have been ghosted by a few), but I've never had a session cancelled while I'm at the door, waiting to be let in. How much of your time did that waste? Hope you didn't pre-pay. Sorry that happened to you.

  3. Not a fan of Jake. I’ll throw my hat in the “not satisfied” ring. I did see him while he was getting ready to move to Palm Springs so maybe he was distracted. But he just kept talking about how great the 4 hand massage would be. And I just kept thinking, “bitch, how about we make THIS massage great!” Anyway, massage was fine. Nothing to rave about for me.

That's hilarious! Thanks for the feedback. Fortunately I've found a new local provider but like to try visiting therapists for a change of pace. Jake and Gary appear to be about the same price for the same service (more than my regular) and are both in my wheelhouse physically, so want to make sure they're worth it.

  4. I've had multiple four-handed sessions over the years, but always from a pair who were a regular duo (and in two cases they were partners -- the third duo just worked together). I love a good four-handed session. The fees were quite double, but they were close, and that was fine with me. Unfortunately, all three duos have either left Dallas or no longer do massage at all.

  5. I recommend Jeremy or Dale in Wilton Manors (not sure how far that is from Fort Lauderdale). They both used to be in Dallas and I saw them frequently. Dale's rates have gone up -- his partner Eric no longer does 4-handed massage with Dale because he owns his own business and stays very busy; Dale helps him with the business a lot, so you might have to schedule in advance. Both are big guys (6-2 or 6-3, about 240-260) and are GREAT masseurs who provide exactly what you're looking for. I remember Dale doing more stretching than Jeremy, but I'm sure he can accommodate you. They both look very imposing, but they're both absolute sweethearts. Hope this helps.

  6. One of best four handed that I’ve had in Dallas was with Bearrub and Dimitry.

They’re no longer together and Dimitry has moved to Charlotte. However I saw that Bearrub still advertises 4-handed, just not sure with who. I’d recommend him.

Thanks for the info -- I went to Bearrub and Dmitry a few years ago; of the two I was more impressed with Bearrub, but their table was very uncomfortable to me. He's now doing 4-handed massages with another local guy (also his partner). I'll have to pass.

  7. WOW good thread...

I guess it would be technically very possible for a masseur to goto his site and see hey johnny browsed me 20x. I could argue this both ways. I disagree a masseur should block though. Hey some might be shy.

To the original poster, how do you know you were blocked. So you couldn't see their ad. Maybe they took it down?

After I logged in (I'm a member), the screen says "Sorry, this profile is unavailable" or something to that affect. Someone here told me that means the masseur has blocked me.

Until kinda recently I didn't know on RM that they can see you (if they are gold members). You can prevent them from seeing you. Its a setting in your profile

On MF is there a similar feature?

  9. It is not unusual.

I am not above blocking a client whose view count is exceptionally high, but I only do this when the provider has said absolutely nothing to me, even after I’ve said hello and introduced myself. Because at this point you’re just peeping through the bushes, and I don’t like that.

Thank you, I never thought of it that way.

  10. I've been blocked by two masseurs on rentmasseur.com -- when I sign in, their ads won't pull up for me. The only reason I can think of why I've been blocked is that my profile has been mostly visible, and they could see that I viewed their ads multiple times without inquiring about an appointment. I'm not particularly drawn to either masseur, but I could change my mind. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Is it unusual?
