https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roma_(2018_film) Sounds like a Spanish language updated version of "Hazel" ;-))) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hazel_(TV_series) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I think giving the film the name "Roma" was wrong. When I hear "Roma" I think of the glory days of the Roman Empire and not some neighborhood of Mexico City.

Regarding sodas - I drink diet soft drinks. I need my daily caffeine fix. I was told years ago that corn tortillas were healthier than flour. And of course rice is a no no for diabetics. My doctor told to be avoid 5 things - potatoes, pasta, bread, rice, cereals. And fruits and veggies like citrus, grapes, corn, peas.

I've had diabetes for over 10 years. I watch my diet. My mother had it; she died at 56. Her mother had it and though she lived into her 80s it cost her both legs. Two of the most expensive meds I take - insulin and Janumet - are for diabetes. My only prescription insurance is Medicare Part D. Both meds are on a high tier. Thus they cost more out-of-pocket.

No mention of kissing! How can there be the BFE without kissing? ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I think the most famous brothers were the Peters twins.

Since I became been housebound last April I have not seen the doctor so the money I've saved I've spent some on books. During my hiatus from the Forums I bought a dozen plus books. The one I'm currently reading is "Kingdoms of Faith - A New History of Islamic Spain" by Brian A Catlos. https://www.danverslibrary.org/readthis/?p=142063

Is a model paid more for this type of activity than for a sex scene? How long does it take to recover? Are there any permanent physical marks because of it?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Globe_Award It's tonight (Sunday, 6 January). I won't be watching. In fact I am so ignorant I had to look up what the award was for. I don't watch award shows. I think the last time I went to the cinema was in 1998.

In the recent episode Mac and Jack are locked in a bomb shelter for hours, days. They are barefoot. Their clothes are filthy. They were wearing button shirts. But their shirt tales never came untucked! ;-)))

I don't know when the series resumes but I have read that Cameron will not be returning. I am disappointed! I was looking forward to seeing him and Mickey again. In the penultimate episode that aired Ian went to prison and Mickey showed up.

45 States That Allow Underage (under 21) Alcohol Consumption
+ Avalon replied to + Avalon's topic in The Lounge
My apologies. I had thought that the drinking age nation-wide was 21yo. But I was watching the recent episode of the sitcom "Speechless" and was surprised to learn that is not the case in Wyoming. So I did a Google search and found that link. However as that link had a copyright I have removed it. -

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marion_Davies Thursday (tomorrow) TCM is airing several of her movies. She was the mistress of William Randolph Hearst. I don't like his politics but love his "Castle". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hearst_Castle

It's on a network called Freeform https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freeform_(TV_channel) I have not watched the tv set in months. I have CBS All Access and Hulu. I got the Hulu with live TV upgrade. I have Showtime on Hulu. I watch online. I have DishTV. I think the last time I watched anything was the HBO movie about Queen Victoria and her Indian servant Abdul. I was paying over $150 per month for DishTV. I have cut back and now just pay the basic of $36 per month. I keep it as a back up.

This is the spin-off from "The Fosters". It centers around Callie and Mariana. They have now both finished college and are working in Los Angeles. Callie as an intern for a conservative judge and Mariana at a high tech company. They live in a communal flat. Shared kitchen and bathroom. First night there Callie had sex with a male flatmate. And they had sex another time. But later we see him having sex with another guy!

I've been watching the episodes from the late 60s, early 70s. Episodes from fifty years ago; I remember watching them when I was a teenager. In some of the early episodes a white male suspect is referred to as a "Male Cauc". "Cauc" for Caucasian. Sounds odd / funny (ha ha) when one hears it.
