  1. http://gay-sculpture.blogspot.com/2018/10/petit-sablon-in-brussels.html Maybe some of our world travelers here have seen it? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sablon_(Brussels)#Petit_Sablon https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Sculptures_of_the_Brussels_guilds,_Petit_Sablon
  2. In this current age I think that most would say Einstein. Before that at least here in the West it might be "the Philosopher" (Aristotle).

  4. I can believe because of his brother he's never drank.
  5. Well at least it wasn't me this time that started that thread.
  6. Yes they would! I'll take four Belami models over three dogs any night!
  7. In the recent episode there was some affair and Avery brought a female date. But on the bright side the actor who plays the young Indian intern Pat Patel both the actor and the character are gay! https://www.imdb.com/name/nm6516135/ And finally he and a young man he had dated and was a waiter at the affair were making out in the backseat of a car.
  8. I think bagels are common everywhere. My store carries bags of them. They are near the cream cheese.
  9. In the recent episode of "L&O:SVU" there was one scene where Finn was walking around with a bagel but he never took a bite of it.
  10. How can someone be in NYC and never eat a bagel? But cereal is easier to understand. When I was a boy breakfast was usually oatmeal and instead of sugar and milk I put butter on it. My mom was a diabetic. I remember after having my tonsils removed the hospital served me oatmeal and rather than butter they provided sugar and milk. My mother showed up and was none too pleased. But I didn't feel like eating anyway.
  11. It was cold last night. In the high 30s. Brrr!!! A couple of weeks ago I turned thermostat up from 76F to 78F (the as the a/c). Years past I put on a second blanket but I'm thinking of getting an electric blanket.
  12. That was so nice of you and the others to do!!!
  13. A lawyer boarded a plane in New Orleans with a box of frozen crabs and asked a blonde flight attendant take care of them for him. She took the box and promised to put it in the crew's refrigerator. He advised her that he was holding her personally responsible for them staying frozen, and in an arrogant manner that he was a lawyer, and threatened what would happen to her if she let them thaw out. Shortly before landing in NY, she used the intercom to announce to the entire cabin: "Would the lawyer who gave me the crabs in New Orleans, please raise your hand?" Not one hand went up ... so she took them home and ate them. There are two lessons here: 1. Lawyers aren't as smart as they think they are. 2. Blondes aren't as dumb as most folks say they are.
  14. Thanks! It was easy to find him when he was Austin Ashley but when he became just Austin it made it difficult.
  15. I was watching the recent episode of "A Million Little Things". It began with a couple (male, female) in bed when the clock radio went off. And she asked "Who still has a clock radio anymore?". I have a clock radio. I've never ever set the alarm nor have I played the radio. I wouldn't know how to set it for either. I just use it to tell time. It is digital and the numbers are red. One time I got a clock with green numbers but it lit up the room. So I quickly replaced it with red.
  16. I was surprised to discover that ice cubes evaporate in the freezer. I rarely use ice cubes. I have a plastic ice tray in the freezer. I remember going to it and finding the cubes had shrunk.
  17. Thank-you! I was unaware of such a thing.
  18. I only have when I worked for a mortuary many years ago. I think now the casket is placed on a gurney so the casket can be wheeled. But it wasn't so when I was working. It was tough going sometimes!
