If it's a regular, then that is completely different. Then again, a regular wouldn't stiff you, right? (Pun not intended)

That never occured to you? To me, it did, but when we met again few months later I couldn't bother bothering him with questions about that.

Why is so difficult for a client to let the escort know something has changed and they will not be able to keep our appointment.....

I can't think of any reason why somebody would rationally pick "not telling anything" as more polite than "just tell him and quickly apologize" (am I being too optimistic here?). Hence, typing or calling in this situation must be making some people feel uneasy.

The rest comes, as very usual in life, from a lack of actual consequences, for the client, for this or the other behaviour.

I have no problem traveling to or with a client. Basically if I am going to meet a client in a certain city, my rate is my standard overnight rate plus the cost of plane fare to/from that city for that client. I have traveled all over the US and internationally with and for clients...

No additionals, regardless of travel length?

Having been slammed against a wall, then having a forearm pressed against my throat, followed by a kick in the stomach, and my hand stepped on during one of my first ever hires I guess you could say I was a bit leary of a guy with brass knuckles.

And still that wouldn't save you from it happening again, if one had the will; I guess you haven't implemented dramatic security measures since then.
