Where did you get your stats? Like I've said I have gone to many presentations given my Infectious disease doctors and I don't think you are correct. I've been given information that is quite differing from yours. You are correct that people should learn for themselves, but I do have to say, what you are saying isn't 100% truthful. It actually has more protection than you are probably aware of and they don't broadcast it because they don't want people missing doses.

The kid is not a victim, yeah a lot of us have fantasies about joining the mile high club, but doesn't mean we act on it. He did, he got caught, wether he was filmed or not, he shouldn't have been doing it. Say he was stealing something form a store and someone recorded him, does that make him a victim? He did something that was against company policy, he should be fired.

A kid who goes into an airplane lavatory...representing the brand and causing controversy with his employer...is not an unwilling victim. He knew exactly what he was doing; he knew the risks; and he should have displayed greater respect for his job and what the uniform represents.

How on earth does anyone make the assumption that AW did not get verbal consent? The kid when in trouble may try to backtrack out of the situation.Do we not know that in the heat of passion the kid could have thought getting banged and shown on the internet by a stud could make him a hero of his friends? No we do not. Just as well we do not know what was totally said in that bathroom and on the flight leading up to the romp.

Meanwhile, the kid deserves to be terminated. Some act like he is completely innocent. Life comes with consequences. If the kid grew up with participation trophies and being told he can never be held responsible for his behavior, then this is his first lesson in the real world.
 
Delta flight attendants are non-union, AND the kid was on probation...a time when most employees mind their p’s and q’s. If he is doing things like this on probation, it doesn’t bode well for his job performance once his employment is more established.

From day one of being an airline employee it is drilled into you WHEN YOU WEAR YOUR UNIFORM YOU REPRESENT THE AIRLINE whether you’re on duty or not. My husband has worked for an international airline for almost three decades. That’s the rule and every airline employee knows it.
 
To be in uniform (on or off duty) is to be representing Delta (in this case). To have your employee badge around your neck is even more serious. Forget the iPhone. Just to wear your uniform even if “off duty” and go into a bathroom with another passenger and lock the door is by definition violating the terms of your employment.

Wow again. I just checked and starting late October I can get the Zurich flights for 26K RT out of WAS instead of the 24K out of JFK. Saves me $200 on positioning flights !
