Substantially you are correct with i recall one exception on this thread. I believe that "hungcody" commented that he had met him a month or so ago. I have communicated with him on a few occasions but personally have reservations about his deposit requirements.

I haven't met Cade but we have corresponded in the past. We almost met one night last year but a few hours before (and before we made definitive plans) he was very honest and said that he instead of working that night he was gonna go out with his friends. Yes it could be interpreted that way and i would have no reason to highlight that in a profile except if it were relevant to a poster's questions. In this case the thread evolved a bit about scheduling appointments and whether to make advance deposits or not. I was pointing out that in my experience with speaking with him, (or an agent perhaps) that he had already publicly listed his travel plans weeks in advance and was already going to be in my city. So in this case the example you illustrate, (which i support), didn't apply. FWIW, I've had good communication with him over a period of time but i get the sense that he'll list cities that he's planning on visiting to see what potential interest there potentially is. (Which for the record is totally fine with me), but i suspect that if the cities are not close to where he is, that he'll wait until he has secured a deposit (as an anchor to his trip) from some future client before finally confirming that part of the travel schedule. So i am not saying that he would flake and/or would take a deposit and then not honor the appointment. I have no evidence or experience regarding that. But i am saying that when he lists future travel and you try to schedule an appointment that may be iffy if you're not willing to make a deposit.

I've only been involved for a relatively short tme period ~4 to 5 years versus many others on here, but have never provided consideration in a deposit advance (except for plain ticket) or provided anything at the very beginning of a meeting for a 1st time meet. However regardless of the time committment ranging from an hour to an overnight, i always will offer and provide a portion of the agreed upon fee after some initial period of hanging out getting to know each other time, to make sure the person knows there's no BS on my part. And if they were planning on scamming theoretically they could make an excsue and hint they want to leave early with a portion of the fee. (never has happened). Experience has been that we've always continued on as planned with the balance of consideration coming sometime towards the end of the meeting and never has been an issue with either side.

Agreed. It takes time and realistic expectations from both sides with a willingness to be patient and flexbile when you're conversing with a stranger about something that both sides want to make sure they're not being scammed or taken advantage of before establishing mutual trust. No we did not meet. I ended up meeting someone else during that time period. Unfortunately since then ( a London trip i was on in November '19) that phone i used broke and i lost all history of text communications and contact information and i actually don't recall the specifics of that communication. What i can recall/say though is the reason we didn't meet up was not due to a disagreement regarding compatibility or rates or anything negative like that. It was either due to scheduling or perhaps i had advanced the conversation with another gentlemen 1st or we hadn't gotten back to each other in time. Yeah thanks for bringing to attention. Haven't seen it before but going through it there are definitely many profiles that are the same pictures and very similar copy to profiles i've seen on RM, friendboy etc... I found some profiles of known legit escorts and one for sure that i had the number of and it was same number as listed on this site. There were a couple profiles that i know were legit a couple years ago but i think the escorts no longer has Ad's but still will see prior clients so not sure what to make of that. Also there were nearly identical "fake" profiles (in terms of pictures) that are currently running on RM as well. So overall to me it is just as "legit" having it's share of real and fakes profiles similar to other sites.

RM can't reliably really verify whether someone met or not. Even if both provider and client both say they did or didn't meet. RM can basically just confirm that communication occurred on the site between whoever is controlling the escort site profile and whoever is controlling the client profile. The site administrator without even reviewing the content of the communication could determine there was legit contact and communication back and forth. Personally i almost immediately try and move to text communication for both party's privacy. So who knows what kind of communicaiton may or may not have gone on between parties. To be clear 'm not defending the escort or taking any sides regarding this specific situation. But i will say having known many and having been in the prescence of escorts when they get text's and calls from potential clients, i can surely imagine situations whereby a potential client feeling like they can't get what they want for a price point they deem acceptable could provide an unflattering review of an escort who they legitimately may have originally communicated with on RM but then ultimately hadn't met happening.
