  1. I'll be Skyping with a bodybuilder tomorrow night and want to record it for my personal pleasure.

He is aware, I have instructed him to wear his mask for the purpose (also his walls are bare, and he has no identifiable tattoos/peircings) - what's the best software to record?

I use Applian Technologies Inc’s video capture tool - I bought the whole suite a while ago. If you want a free tool, search CNET.com or Gizmodo.com for a recommendation...

  2. For sure. I’m definitely more relieved that it didn’t happen. I do feel, after sleeping over it, that I did dodged a bullet

Based on this, (and the "I don't give second chances" comment in your original post) may I make the assumption that it was a first time meet? Sorry to hear that your Saturday was filled with more drama than a Jersey Shore reboot....

  3. Not now, but they have shown before that they will go for easy targets. Especially if it means money can get seized. (How much money did they legally “steal” from rentboy’s bank accounts? Many millions if I remember well.)

Maybe the solution is to be non-profit.

Then you are not an attractive target for the NYPD.

Perhaps we should follow John Oliver’s example and register as a ministry - that way even the IRS will turn a blind eye! :D

  4. Hello folks, I was curious if a massage client should specifically ask about extras beforehand (like MT, HE, etc) or is that improper etiquette? I'm confused because I have only had a few massages, and 90% of them had HEs without asking. Then one provider offered a "release" at the end for extra. I didn't understand exactly what he was saying as I was sort of drifting off in a dream state :) so I said sure. The added HE fee was quite high, and I wouldn't have seen this provider if I had known the total cost beforehand as it pushed things into price range of a full service experience (didn't have a full service experience though).

I don’t think I have ever had to ask about HE directly. Here is how I approach it: On first communication I ask about the massage type (erotic), specifically if he offers a full body massage. At this point the provider usually mentions HE (erotic is a big clue!) If not mentioned, if he just responds with ‘yes’ I give him a nudge by asking if he has any specific boundaries I should be aware of. If that doesn’t get us on the same page I try one last time by saying something like “here are the types of things I enjoy...lots of body contact, mutual touching” etc. At this point it is a go/no go decision... Hope that helps!

  5. Jumping on this bandwagon, I'm a huge fan. A friend attended the Harry Potter play (The Cursed Child) in London, I was sooo envious. Can't wait until it makes it closer to me.

Showing on Broadway in NYC until the end of April. :D

  6. I was just wondering if anyone else finds this inappropriate. There are a few masseurs who I've booked in the past who now text me about once a month to see if I want to book a massage. It feels like some sort of text blast, they usually begin with "hey guys, I'm in town and available" and then their info. I understand the need to market your services, but I'd rather not receive text messages soliciting my business. I always respond and ask them to take me off their texting list, but there are two guys who I occasionally still get texts from no matter how often I ask them to stop. Does anyone else get this?

I suppose it is a cheap way of marketing - most of us now have 'all you can eat' texting plans, so there is no real cost involved. It may even be effective - if it wasn't, they wouldn't do it. I have a few 'regulars' that will reach out to me when it's been a while or if they come into town, but those are personalized, directed at me specifically and I am okay with it - not the big blast 'throw jello against the wall and see if it sticks' approach you mentioned. They should remove you from a mailing list if you request it, if not they can get into a fair amount of trouble (TCPA applies and although I am not a lawyer, I understand that it has teeth to it if they don't have your prior written express consent...) Most mobile phones now have the ability to block numbers - if they won't stop misbehaving, you can try to block the number.

  7. On the recent episode of "The Resident" a doctor who had forgotten it was his girlfriend's birthday gave her a puppy. Some puppies had been brought to the hospital as therapy for the patients.

When my aunt retired her co-workers gave her a dog. I thought that was the worst gift ever! Finally she was free, she could travel but now was tied down with a dog to care for. SHAME!

No, would be my default answer. Unless it is specifically requested as a gift AND I am convinced that the recipient would care for the pet, I would not consider it.

  8. The audiobooks are also excellent.

    Kevin Slater

Indeed, they are quite popular - I had to wait a few weeks to get them from the New York Public Library, but they were worth the wait! (Keep in mind, the last book in the series was published 10 years ago and they still have a wait list for a few weeks to this day!!)

  9. After tonight's Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (which I recommend everyone watch ASAP) I'm compelled to post this.

John Oliver had our backs 100% tonight. He went after Mike Pence, James Dobson and Focus on the Family solely in our defense, IMO.

Pence is launching a children's book tomorrow about his bunny (no shit!) Marlon Bundo.

In advance of that, HBO's Emmy-winning Last Week Tonight with John Oliver presents a picture book about a Very Special boy bunny who falls in love with another boy bunny. There is also an audiobook with Jim Parsons (Narrator),‎ Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Narrator),‎ Jeff Garlin (Narrator),‎ Ellie Kemper (Narrator),‎ John Lithgow (Narrator),‎ Jack McBrayer (Narrator),‎ RuPaul (Narrator)

Proceeds will be donated to The Trevor Project.

CNN reported yesterday that the book sold out and a reprint is already in the works!

  10. No no no no

A gentleman’s leathers should all match - shoes, belt and watch band. Alligator for a dressy day at the office or a fine calfskin for a more subdued look. Brown is acceptable for the above, collectively, only so long as the accompanying suit is of a complementary hue.

Likewise for any metals: belt buckle, bezel of a thin, tastefully understated watch, one (and no more) ring (never on the pinkie unless one is meeting with members of the mafia), Mont Blanc fountain pen pocket clip, and, of course, cuff links. Gold is preferable. (Note the omission of any metal on the shoes - no buckles there unless attending a Gypsy wedding or the butchering of a hog).

The rules are quite clear and easy to follow. “Dare to be different” at your own sartorial peril.

Do I want to be a gentleman? No. I want to be Harvey Specter! :D

  11. Who are the best traveling masseures you have experienced? In terms of a good massage and sensual/erotic combined.

I know a few masseurs that split their time between locations (eg based in NYC but spend a week every month in Miami). I dont consider them ‘traveling’ masseurs - only those that run from city to city are ‘traveling’ by my definition. I avoid those. In my early days I was adventurous enough to try a few but I can only recall one case where it worked out to my satisfaction. He disappeared soon after...
