Well as of Aug 1st they own Johnson’s which means they have two profitable clubs (Johnson’s Tampa and Fort Lauderdale). But if those clubs had a massive income straam they could have expanded without selling… seems they trade their assets for worthless shares.

I realize this is somewhat akin to beating a dead horse…..but apparently stock bar has a female DJ now. Honestly, I think they need to shut it down and repurpose it as a drag/dance bar. The only thing left in montreal as far as strip clubs go is campus…. And while they have too many women, at least they still have a roster of hot dancers and it remains a gay male strip club where the staff is male. I’m sure at some point we will get an update that stock has added trans women or trans men or non binary dancers to the lineup. I guess I have another question since we are being so inclusive. Isn’t it discriminatory, elitist, unwelcoming, unequal and alienating that only men can be drag queens? This is clearly not in keeping with the gay community’s stated goals around diversity, equity and inclusion. Women should be able to get dressed up, put on crazy wigs, over the top make up and lip sync to Rhianna and Mariah and Whitney just like the boys do. Women, whether straight or gay should not be treated like 2nd class citizens in gay bars. There is no way anyone who believes that opening up gay strip clubs to women every night in the name of equality could disagree. So, let me know your thoughts.

I doubt the people in this thread chastising posters who prefer an all male environment for strip clubs ever have supported the dancers who work in these clubs. I’m happy I was able to enjoy times when gay strip clubs (in Montreal in particular) were exclusively male on most nights. Those days were special. When you are a customer in a male strip club… in particular a gay strip club you (whether you be Male or female) shouldn’t wear clothes with your tits hanging out. Especially if you are obese. If posting a picture of an obese individual… sitting at the main stage with their big tits hanging out offends the poster’s sensibilities…. I would advise them to get a tissue and go see a therapist. there is no contradiction in the three images I posted. The two images of the stage showed women at the stage. No men. I did not take any photos in the bar. They were sent to me by someone who subscribes to the live feed. Stock bar had less than 10 dancers for the main gay pride weekend. My understanding is it was 6 or 7 dancers. They could not run a continuous stage and only about 1 out of every 3 songs had a dancer on stage. From the early 2000s to 2019 they had 40-50 dancers on Pride weekend…. EVERY SINGLE YEAR. That is a truth. So the poster who tried to say it was nothing but rainbows and butterflies is either lying to himself or has amnesia about the pre-Covid montreal strip bar scene and its environment. ‘I am happy to understand Campus on the other hand had a really good lineup. Although I am an “American” and an ‘irregular’ visitor I have no problems connecting with dancers at either bar. There are always a few boys that are VERY happy to see me. Although my in hotel visits are now limited to “former” stock dancers who I see whenever I go to montreal and whatever campus boys that I like who make the suggestion that we could have more “fun” in my hotel room. I will not share further details on the in bar or out of bar activities because they are too explicit for this forum.

Johnson’s hasn’t forgotten… they can’t find any blond hair blue eyed guys who are willing to dance. I can promise you they try. Gorgeous George (the airhead from California) is in Fort Lauderdale occasionally.

I would not make Atlanta part of a trip unless you are into unattractive girlie boys and middle age roieed out or fluffy guys (BJ roosters). it seems the montreal bars are struggling although I will make a visit there this summer to see. johnsons Fort Lauderdale always has a strong lineup although it leans heavily Latin and unfortunately a good number struggle with English. If you get tampa on a good weekend it is the best bet. But they are struggling to build a strong client base. I don’t know how they’ve managed to get so many hot guys (locals and guests)… but they have a good mix body type / ethnicity). Tampa is a hidden gem. Not really a tourist destination like Miami and Fort Lauderdale but if people discover it… they almost always prefer it to Fort Lauderdale / Miami

The “Montreal invasion” is 3 or 4 guys who have been dancing in Fort Lauderdale this winter + 1 who will be flying in for the weekend from montreal. I didn’t think the club in tampa would work. But now I think it is going to become the premier club in the US. I just wish it was fully nude.

There were only a handful of dancers from the last days of Richards that were worthy of lap dance money. May be harsh to say but true. I was at BJs recently. They had 25 dancers… none that I found desirable. if you like strippers or gogo boys or dancers whatever you call them you can go to (1)Montreal (although those bars are still struggling since the pandemic), (2) Johnson’s Fort Lauderdale. But it’s small and super crowded with very little privacy…. Or (3) based on the pics being posted on Instagram and Facebook, Johnson’s Tampa. Really hopeJohnson’s finds a place in atlanta. It would be a money maker from day 1.

To be honest I don’t think SR had much talent towards the end. The only ones I found particularly attractive were Ken, Axel, Scotty, Juan, Cali. I know I’m probably forgetting a few but those are the only guys I took dances from in the last 2 years the club was open except for Brent and Denver (who were rarely there) Juan has been dancing at BJs some. The club located in the Atlanta underground complex has been advertising the “Boys of Future Wed-Sun 10pm-?” But although the add says 20 boys I’m told they do not have 20 boys. It is also not nude but does supposedly have VIP rooms. on a recent Friday night they had no customers so they sent two of the dancers to Blakes to promote the club and the dancers. These two particular dancers I won’t name but had a notorious reputation at SR for bad attitudes. Were disliked by regulars and basically anyone who interacted with them that didn’t want to spend major bucks in the VIP rooms. BJs won’t hire them. So basically future gets BJs rejects… which is a pretty low bar ‘’Future is primarily known as a dance bar and for drag shows. But it is a very nice looking club. The area it is located in is high crime area though. For now, I’m waiting to hear more. So far, I don’t think it is worth the visit

I also thought ithey would demolish the building and it would become apartments/condos or commercial office space.
