Indeed, it seems to me that these are people staying home and just shopping at the local store, and eating every Sunday at the same time in the same local restaurant. I moved for work to go live in 6 different countries and have seen another 42 countries on top of that as a tourist. And I am not even that old, that number will grow significantly before I die. Staying at home would reaaalllly depress me.

Jeeze , it is just a tool. It is an “all in one tool” for many things: maps, encyclopedia, music, books, calling other people, watching TV, yellow pages, translator, etc. It just a miniaturised version of all these things that used to take so much room, and that you couldn’t do on the move because you wouldn’t carry an encyclopedia with you. There is no need to wait in line for it, that is a complete waste of your own time, they always make enough. And there is no reason to become obsessed by it, it is like being obsessed by your new hammer. It is a tool! Anyone who thinks they might fall into bad habits have no self control. I am not going to have respect for openly admitting their lack of self control.

I don’t know anyone without a smartphone. I would feel weird around them. I have had a smartphone since early 2003. Ooooops... awkward. Well I guess you are not going to the games, then. I guess you guys don’t care because you already know that gay people have children this way, but most people who read this in the tabloids discover it there and then. So I don’t mind this particular gay couple educating the masses, through tabloid articles like this, about how gay couples have children of their own. PS: I know the link from Avalon is to a gay web site, but similar articles appeared in Hello Magazine, the Mirror, the Sun, the Metro, the Evening Standard newspapers, the BBC website etc.
