OK here is where things currently stand. The guy is VERY pro which includes being a great communicator. He answers texts VERY promptly. Within a couple of hours we had an appointment set up and I knew what his fee would be. He is coming to my place for a Saturday evening dinner and a couple of hours of play time. Since I'm about to leave on a three week vacation the appointment was set up for the end of October -- that was such a non issue that he didn't even comment on it when I mentioned it. I'm curious what "very expensive" means. There are VERY few guy I would pay "big bucks" to play with, HOWEVER, he just happens to be one of them.

My own personal experience with the David parallels nycmans. Many, many years ago on my first visit to Florence I spent three weeks there. I had decided, prior to my trip, that I would NOT visit the Accademia Gallery as the David was to my way of thinking an artistic cliche. One day near the end of my trip I visited the Ospedale degli Innocenti which houses some wonderful Andrea dell Robbia medallions. On my way back to my hotel I happened to pass the Accademia Gallery and decided to make a quick visit. The statue absolutely blew me over. In my life I have seen only two man made things that brought me to tears: the David and the Taj Mahal.

I took my high school A.P. Art History students to Europe on several occasions. We usually visited Paris, Florence and Rome. On one trip our school librarian accompanied us. She was a lovely middle aged devout LDS (Mormon). When we were about to leave the Accademia Gallery we couldn't find Judy. I finally located her setting on the bench behind the statue staring up at Davids back side. When she noticed me her only comment was "Damn that's a nice ass". A number of years ago I was dining at Valentino's in Santa Monica. It is an outstanding restaurant and it is very expensive. A cell phone rang at the table next to mine and its owner, a middle aged woman, answered and carried on a long conversation in a loud voice for several minutes. Nobody seated at the surrounding tables, myself included, said a word. The third time it happened a "gentleman" seated nearby got up walked over to her table and in a loud voice said "lady get off the fucking phone NOW" The entire room burst into applause. The woman got off the phone, quickly finished her meal and left. Damn it was a wonderful moment.

I have always felt sorry for children who misbehave in restaurants. It is really the asshole parents who are to blame. The parents are too busy doing their own things to spend the time teaching their children how to behave. I dislike old people (I'm 77) who drive in the fast lane (75 mph) at 55 mph. I drive 80 mph. I dislike old people who have a cart full of groceries and get in the 10 items or less line, at the market, and play dumb. I dislike old people who in the grocery check out line wait until their groceries are totaled, then search for their check book and when they eventually find it ask the checker to borrow his/her pen before they start writing out their check. I dislike people who no longer feel the need to say excuse me, thank you, or you're welcome. I dislike people who, in a crowded place, insist on talking on their cellphones in a loud voice. Do they really think I give a fuck about their conversation. Unfortunately this list could go on and on.

You know guys I've NEVER had a problem with an escort showing up on my doorstep not looking like his photographs. It might just be dumb luck (a definite possibility in my case). I'm a big vegetable fan. The only one I do NOT like is okra which I absolutely hate. I also despise the word "veggie" it's so fucking cute I nearly want to vomit every time I hear somebody use it. I am perfectly aware that at times on this site his posts could be abrupt, confrontational and rude. He also had lots of attitude and a very large chip on his shoulder. I met him a number of years ago at two Palm Springs Weekends and I liked him. I always wanted to get together with him for some fun and games but our schedules never seemed to work. On a face to face, one on one basis he was perfectly charming and lots of fun. Being rightly accused of having a considerable amount of attitude myself I have always enjoyed it in others.
