Have a good acquaintance who is an activist gay shop owner in Puerto Vallarta. A couple of years ago he was very involved in organizing the Puerto Vallarta Gay Pride activities. Dimaggio was invited down to ride on the main float in the parade. By the time he left to return to the States he was persona non grata big time. He was a total pain in the ass diva from the moment he arrived until the moment he left. My friends reaction was "never again would he spend time with that asshole".

Over the last seventeen years I would guesstimate that I have spent, on average, between $10,000 and $12,000 per year. Since I have recently begun to limited myself to hiring only one guy I find I am spending considerably less. I'm now traveling and cruising alone and with friends more and more. As I have aged my interested have evolved.

I'm with WilliamM as regards the denomination of bills I use to pay escorts - 20's. They are easy to use and there is never a problem with counterfeits. With ALL escorts I hire I give them an envelope with their fee at the very beginning of our get together - have never had a problem doing this. With new hires I ALWAYS tell them that since there have never been with me before I will NOT be offended if they count the money. I even go so far as to explain that I might have inadvertently short changed them so they may want to double check me. In ALL of my seventeen years of hiring NOT ONE escort has counted the money.

In a way I'm glad he appears to live permanentely in D.C. and not in Southern California. If he lived in my area I might be tempted to break my new rule about NOT hiring new guys. I have always been a "sucker" for pretty boys with nice gymnast type bodies.

I first started hiring seventeen years ago. I was like a kid in a candy story. I traveled all over the country hiring escorts in places like Tampa, New York, Chicago, Vancouver, San Francisco etc., etc., etc. Damn it was fun. Since I started this tread I will come up with a personal fact. My first name is Don not Donald. When my parents were deciding on a name for me my father wanted Donald. My mother absolutely refused and explained that she always associated Donald with Donald Duck and she didn't want to stick me with that. I absolutely hate the name Donny and anybody who uses it is quickly corrected. Now with that out of the way my last name is also a problem. It is not a terribly uncommon name but it has both an English and German spelling. The English version is by far the most common and starts with the letter "C" while the German version starts with the letter "K". Mine is of course is the German version. Thus when I give my last name to someone in a doctors office, government office or any other formal office situation I ALWAYS spell it first before pronouncing it.

Here is my update regarding contacting Alex. He has not yet responded to my text sent yesterday at 10 am PST. I will NOT follow up with another text. I have the feeling that if per chance all the stars are in alignment getting together with him is a possibility. In the end I'm not willing to continue the pursuit indefinitely. If and when he does respond I will post here again.

Funguy I agree with your comment about clients simply disappearing when an escort quotes a fee the potential client feels is exorbitant. I always thank the escort for his time and explain that his fee is beyond my budget. At that point further communication between us usually ceases. However on a number of occasions the escorts has responded and asked me what I would be willing to pay. I do not usually respond to that question as I despise the very idea of bargaining with an escort over his fee. I certainly understand that there are guys here won't agree with me on this point but to each his own. Now, to be perfectly honest, there have been a very few occasions when, the escort rings all of my bell, I have responded by quoting what I am willing to offer. In every case the escort has replied positively and we have gotten together and had a great time. At my age I have come to believe that absolutely nothing is set in concrete.

He's cute and I find something alluring about him. If he were visiting the L.A. area I might consider engaging him but what the hell is he doing visiting Bakersfield. Bakersfield is the end of the fucking earth.

Hey Jeffster you obviously haven't spent much time in Utah or talking to good Mormon boys. My mother's family was from Utah and I used to spend a considerable amount of time there. For some reason, don't ask me why, Mormon men learn, from childhood, to speak as Alex does - tone, pitch, and cadence . They are also taught to play a musical instrument, usually the piano. Alex plays the piano. Everything about him, except his gayness and his porn career reeks of his Utah background.

Unicorn nobody worth anything is laughing at you. You went into a relationship that you thought and hopped might be a lasting one and unfortunately it has turned out not to be. Take credit for the time and effort you put into trying to make it work. You made the effort, that he failed to do do isn't your fault. Certainly you are disappointed and angry that it didn't work out - that's only natural and human. The ALL important thing is that you are NOT blaming yourself for the failure and you are moving on. CONGRATULATIONS you've handled this situation as well as anybody possibly could.

Several years ago I had a regular who was an actor and had had a number of roles in the daytime soaps.
