Recently Oliver added a third activity to the weekend events. After the Sunday Pool Party, at around 7 or 7:30 p.m., there is now a farewell no-host dinner at a local Mexican restaurants. Hands down Benjamin Nicholas. We only got together once a number of years ago and, to my great regret, I've never been able to visit his neck of the woods since. I'm still dazzled by the fact that while I was away from the dinner table he paid the check and absolutely refused to allow me to reimburse him. After thirty-six years of teaching, in an outstanding public high school, I retired in June of 2002. My decision was actually quite sudden. I had originally plan to teach another year but as it appeared that my favorite class was not going to make I decided to leave earlier. Once my decision was finalized and announced I look a very cavalier attitude publically. However, at home, in bed at, night I was panicked out of my life. The vast majority of my life had been centered on the school in which I taught and on the community which it served. I simply couldn’t imagine what I would do with my time. I had always gone to the gym prior to going to school and I continued that routine. There I had time to talk to others and quite quickly made friends and joined their coffee klatch. I finally had the time to read to my heart’s content. I joined the board of directors of my condo. All of a sudden one day, about a year after I retired, I suddenly came to wonder just how I had had time to work considering all the fun things I was doing. Now I am able to do my household chores at my convenience rather than pack them all in a busy weekend. One amazing consequence of my retirement is that I don’t get things, I don’t necessarily enjoy, completed as quickly as I did when I was working – there is always tomorrow. The best advice I can give you is sit back relax and allow your life to evolve. Spend more time doing the things you really enjoy and life will take care of itself. I always tell people who ask me if retirement is a good as I had anticipated -- NO -- it is a thousand time better.

No tassojunior I really don’t have to see it from their point of view. All of us have had jobs, professions, or career that had different requirements both positive and negative. I for example, taught high school for over thirty years and was required to deal, in a positive manner, with lazy, recalcitrant students and hysterical demanding parents. If I could not do those things then I should not have been teaching. Escorting is no different than any other job, profession or career in that it has some very specific requirements. If an escort cannot be polite and learn how to handle talkative clients, shy clients, make appointments and keep them he should not be escorting. In a buyer seller relationship the seller ALWAYS needs to make the accommodations not the buyer. Over time a good escort will learn how to deal effectively with ALL type of potential and real clients. If he cannot do that he is NEVER going to be all that successful and should probably get out of the business.

Years ago I learned that I was "always" more successful traveling to an escort I wanted to hire rather than hiring an escort who was visiting my location on his own. Now I certainly understand that many clients, because of various reasons, are unable to do that. One of the great advantages of being single and retired.

I watch this every couple of years and I always find myself in tears by the end. What disturbs me the most is how the porn industry consumes its own. In all my years of hiring I have NEVER set up a get together solely by using rentmen. I use rentmen only for eye candy and to make an initial contact. If the escorts responds positively to my rentmen contact I give him my cell number and my email address and we proceed from there. Nowadays most guys prefer to text and I've adjusted to that fact. I have never gone through all the complicated rig amole of burner phones and special email addresses in order to maintain anonymity. Talk about a memory from the distant past. Just after I started hiring, about seventeen year ago, I drove to San Diego (Mission Bay) and got together with Miller for lunch and some play time.
